I just ordered too
There wasn't a deal then, there is a deal now. Deal with it. Deal deal deal.
Bring it to customer support mate not here
I feel like when they do these 12 month specials it's always cheaper at EOFY then Xmas (the 12 month cycle I'm in) hrmm.
You can buy this now, and ring customer support who will refund your remaining credit.
Have done this twice now.
next time I might do 90 days so it aligns with EOFY deals
Aren’t the Catch Connect plans 365 day at 50% off for new customers better value?
https://catchconnect.com.au/I’m looking at renewals for my daughter and my iPad.
Remember to use Shopback for another additional $15
What's the connection like?
Do they do Visual Voicemail for iOS?
… who uses voicemail these days, right, but it's nice.
Yes they do, I’ve been using it.
My kid on catchconnect 205gb love it! Rest of the family is on Kogan as we got m plans for $124 thanks a pricing error :)
I’d go with cheaper if you are in metro areas
I wouldn't go for this. I'd prefer the Boost deal come back or do $90 catchconnect for the equivalent.
Beware, Kogan has been alleged false advertising by ACCC over this 10% discount. Basically jack is working in Kogan
My Kogan 90 days plan expires on 16/8. This 365 plan needs to be activated by 17/7. Will I forfeit the rest of my 90 days plan if I recharge with the 365 days plan on 17/7 ?
Yes
They dropped their GB plans to compensate with the lower price
Pretty sure they've lost a LOT of customers who were previously on their BOGOF plans last year and when it came time to renew, offered very crap plans for their renewal. Gone to 365 day Boost ($150) or Optus ($120) plans with much better coverage.
Exactly this ^.
I moved on to Lebara, but will move back to kogan via Groupon next month.
Unfortunately I need to stay on Vodafone for coverage reasons. But a lot less data?
Yes and no. Boost is 80GB or 6.7GB a month and Optus is 60GB or 5GB a month. Both plans more than the Small 3GB Kogan plan but not as good as the medium 13GB plan or as expensive.
Exactly this^.
Wife and I moved on to Boost ($150 with 80G and unlimited international calls to countries we need to call).
Coverage is better now too.Can only see Optus for $180 (365 day)
It's finished now.. was $120 in store for the $180 plan.
Have they ever extended this deal for a bit longer, e.g. to the end of the financial year? I seem to remember something…
Would wait for Lebara or boost offer.
Isn't Boost 80G for $150 offer still available?
"First recharge by 8 July 2019, with remaining four recharges by 31 October 2019."My $150 Boost recharge voucher reads
"expires 17/01/2021".
Is this the 'recharge by' date? You can use the voucher by then to have $150 credit but maynot be eligible for the plan.
Awesome just in time for my renewal went with the 20gb plan this time :) code saved $26
For existing customers too?
Beware of Kogan data usage methods. Found 20Gb didnt go very far at all compared to other providers. No streaming, youtube, music gaming or downloading but 20Gb just evaporated

Mine has been 100% fine.
I have over 10 happy friends (although this time we may need to revisit other providers) on Kogan
same. everything been fine on kogan for the past year. in fact, started out at 11gb per month and ended up with 15gb per month
however, catch connect 50% off is better value and cheaper. i bought 2 sims and used cashrewards for a further $16 off each sim
I was very conscious of the relatively limited data so watched usage carefully what was used. The sim was in a LTE router at a weekender home only used 2-5 days most months. Over 12 months, data consistently evaporated at an alarming rate despite No streaming - video or music or downloading. Limited Web browsing/facebook doesn't consume 20 Gb of data over 5 days a month.
From your other posts, was your LTE router a Telstra Air enabled one..?
It seems like it..
Means other Telstra devices connected to Telstra Air would have consumed your data :|@cwongtech: There is no Telstra Air hotspot in Goolwa SA, this would have been great as my home NBN is with Telstra and if available I could have had unlimited data and not needed another service.
Kogan coverage was quite OK, just data usage calculation always seemed way out - most perplexing.
My plan is to upgrade to an optus plan with large data allowance that can be shared and take a new $20 per month SIM only service for use in the router.

Strange.
Mine has been very accurate (matched with my phone usage counter), even when I used my phone as a hotspot
I bought the 13gb plan a few days ago to recharge, before this promo.
I just called Kogan Mobile support and said I wanted to go for the 3gb plan instead. They actually refunded my credit card and said I can buy it online with the Voucher Code :)
Incidentally, the voucher that arrived before I cancelled it had an expiry of 31/12/19. I did choose the Recharge option when I bought it online though.Bought. Good deal. My $14.90 90 day plan runs out just before this voucher expires.
For existing server, does the original renewal date get retained after activating a voucher or the renewal date will be based on the date you use the voucher?
the renewal date will be based on the date you use the voucher
When you use the voucher, the original renewal date will be lost.
How was this considered to be a good deal, when Catch Connect 50% off 12-month prepaid plans are much better value for money?
