    They light up. Good for kids night lights - if you don't mind replacing the AAA batteries every 3 weeks.

    Should have really been designed to run on AA batteries (they would have lasted my longer) or via DC (without needing to by a clunky USB interface they obviously released as an after-thought.

      I did not know they lit up. I googled some in the dark, they actually look very cool.

      That's what I use one for.
      Not too bright, use eneloops and charge them every few days.
