Sad to say it… out of all the protest parties I think I'll go Green's then the majors.

    • -1

In other words you'll vote Labor.

    • +2

this guy is spamming me everywhere… I open my mailbox and I found a flyer, I open youtube I see his ads, I scroll through fb and he's there.. He made me sick of his face

      • +8

You must have wide screen devices, all I get is his chin.

    • +2

Do they actually have any policies?

      • +4

They have two, more money for Palmer, no money for workers.

    • So you voted LNP, good for you

  • Aaaand they're gone.

  • +19

I work for 7-11. It starts midnight tonight.

      • +1

        Homie, you got ruined.

        • -3

Bro i've just shown that 29 people have no idea what midnight means.

Midnight Saturday is when Friday ends and Saturday starts which is when the deal starts.

  • What does a doughnut do to election date?

    • +5

The doughnut says to the election date “You’re pitty-full”, the date says to the doughnut “You’re not that Holey”

  • So box of 4 donuts will be $4 or is there a limit?

    • It does say Conditions apply, but I don't think we know yet what they are

    • +1

Will probably be redeemed via app.

      • +4

        No app offer required

  • +7

Can I vote at 7-Eleven? Much better deals there than at my local primary school.

    • +5

What are their policies on wages?

      • +4

Wages for some, tiny Australian flags for others.

  • Good find OP!

  • Anyone knows how much each item costs originally?

    • +2

$2 water, $2 snack sausage roll, $2.75 glazed doughnut.

  • +2

OMG I'm getting up super early to get my doughnut(s) and $1 coffee.

    • How'd you go mate? Highlight of your weekend??

      • Giddy up cowboy I certainly did. Scooped up 12 delicious rolls of sugar. How'd you go?

        • There just happens to be a 711 right next to the school where I vote. About to walk up there now.

  • +5

    Democracy Donuts!

We're just missing the Freedom Fries.

  • +8

Should have free beer in honour of our great late beer chugger - Bob Hawke!

  • +1

Again, it's an original glaze. You have to specify.
The other varieties cost 18% more. The plain glaze is hardly worth having.
If you want one, just get it for free with the Fuel app. Make a new account.

    • -1

Think the Fuel app recognises your device therefore not easy to create a new account

      • -1

        I don't think so.

If you got a second hand device and were new to the app it would think you aren't.

        • -1

When you get a second hand device, the device would have been reset so no probs with creating a new account

          • -1

            @ilovefullprice: If it

            recognises your device

Then resetting will not do anything because it would be looking at the device serial number

            • -1

@spaceflight: As confirmed by Joey below, factory reset would work. But bare in mind when you factory reset, you will loose all your data saved on your phone.

              • @ilovefullprice:

As confirmed by Joey below, factory reset would work

I didn't say a factory reset wouldn't work, you did.

You said it recognises your device which would mean a factory reset wouldn't work.

                • -1

                  @spaceflight: I didn’t say a factory reset wouldn’t work, I was saying it would!

If I am not mistaken a factory reset would affect the device id, which I am not 100% certain

      • +1

Factory reset the device. I know this works with the 7 eleven app as I usually hit all the deals in one transaction on my lunch break. One day after phone was running slow with poor battery life I factory reset it and it pulled down all my apps and data automatically over wifi and when I opened the 7 eleven app all the deals i had already claimed were back in there and i was able to claim them again. One thing to note is that i never sign into the 7 eleven app as it gives you access to the deals regardless. If you want a free donut via the app I'm certain with a factory reset of your device plus a new email account you could get one. Seems a bit too much effort for a $2.75 donut.

      • +1

You can use Parallel Space to get around it.

        • Thanks, that’s a good tip!

Anything I need to take note about the app, or it’s pretty much straight forward?

    • Yet original glazed is their highest seller by a huge margin

    • If you want one, just get it for free with the Fuel app. Make a new account.

That's a lot of effort to save $1

    • I personally really like Original Glaze.

  • Anyone confirm it’s $1 now since I’m right next to one and don’t want to go down my apartment :)

    • +3

You need to wait until midnight Saturday.

  • +1

My belly will require Double Dissolution

    • +1

If you eat too many, there will be trouble in the "Lower House".
      My belly is abstaining.

  • +5

Just picked up 4 original glazed donuts for $4. The gentleman at the counter said there was no limit.

    • I hope there is still some left when I come later

  • +3

Early bird gets the donut. Limit of 5 at my local…

  • I went to my local 7/11 and they said 1 limit with hot beverage. I only got 1 donut with coffee.

    • -5

Just got 16, but lots of fiddling at the counter to put it through as $16, so there prob is supposed to be a limit … :)

      • Well if they try and put it through as a box of 4 it comes to $10. So they have to choose the $1 option and multiply that by the number you have.

      • +6

you kind of ruin it for everyone else who wants to get one just sayin

  • -2

Worker in one of the Sydney CBD stores didn't care when I asked him what the limit it. So I got 6 for breakie.

    • Sugar od, lol

  • Based on there previous promos limited stocks , latter people won't get their sugar fix :)

  • -2

Limit of 5. She managed to put through 11

  • Roughly 88 left at Carlingford 7 eleven as of this post

    • +1

      Did you count them?

      • +4

Pretty simple math they are on trays.

        • Yep, this. Hence ‘roughly’.

  • -1

Just picked up a dozen doughnuts and 3 sausage rolls, worker didn't care how many I wanted. Had to be put through in 2 transactions to recognize the $1 prices. She said they'd all be gone by mid afternoon. Happy Saturday everyone!

  • +1

7-11 on Morayfield Road in QLD, you can only get one. I took my 2 kids for a walk with me and asked very nicely if we could please get 3 so we could have one each, guy at the counter said, "No, one per paying customer." Cheers, mate.

    • +1

Did you give your kids a dollar each to pay?

      • +1

        Nah couldn’t figure that out

        • -2

?? My kids are 2 and 3. Why the d%$khead comment?

          • +2

@pistachio1: Mine wasn’t a d%$khead comment at all, I’ve got two young kids too and give them coins to pay for things. They usually enjoy the experience.

The problem was the 7-11 worker. Just offering a way to be a smart arse back to him to get around their “one per paying customer” line.

            • +1

@jwh: wasn’t talking to you sorry mate

          • @pistachio1: I don't think that comment was at all what you interpreted it as. Very easy solution, your kids go to the counter and buy their donut each on a seperate transaction. 2 and 3 year olds aren't that stupid and they have a general concept of how retail works as soon as they walking and talking as long as you've never taken them with you ever to any shop.

You could have also pointed the guy to the fine print on the terms and conditions at the bottom of the promotional sticker that is on the donut cabinet that clearly says limit of up to 5 $1 donuts per person. That's what I would have done. Guess I'm a (profanity).

            • -1

@Joey Jo Jo: It was meant for cdaddy…You were doing well in winning me over until the last comment.

    • Always get those tightarses at 7 Eleven.

    • +1

There is a sticker on the glass door clearly stating that the limit is 5per person. The guy at our local 7-11 eleven said that there was no limit when I asked.

  • +1

I got a whole box. Had to pay for 11 and 1 separately since picking 12 changed it to the dozen price. The 7 eleven near my house barely gets any business so the guy was happy to do it.

  • +1

    MAX 5 per person

  • -4

    Got 24 being 2 boxes:)

  • Best election news so far today! :)

  • Bought 10 after confirming with staff that I can buy as many as I like :)

  • +1

$6 dollar breakfast including coffee… some regrets

  • Got 6 for $6, lady did a simple override on the register.

At my local, there was also $1 for a 600ml bottle of water today too (wasn't a store specific deal I don't think).

    Thanks OP.

  • Cleck at the counter said no limit when I asked for 1 dollar donuts.

  • 5 limit at my local. 2 donuts and 2 sausages nice one Election!!

  • +1

    Better than snags

  • Will there be a ScoMo Donut tomorrow?

    • -1

yes but you won't want it, it's a brown donut smeared in his pants at a local maccas

    • It'll be a Dutton roll next year 😀
