@urbancartel: oh, thanks…
They jacked the price last night. It was $314 yesterday. But still the cheapest they have ever been…
This is concerning…
WARNING:Please charge from a computer USB port or with a 5V 1A USB power adapter, please avoid any 2.1A fast charging or the charger will be fried.
Wow a useful comment for a change!
Some people don't like change. Do you?
I think this is what happened to mine…
It does not come with it's own charger, only a cable/cradle.
It does not come with a warning.
What's Amazon return policy if I didn't like it?
if I didn't like it?
🤣
With Amazon, always be careful when you open the box/wrapper as you're supposed to return it in the same packaging.
You initiate the return process on Amazon's website and are asked to print out some labels to stick on the return package, and insert a page or two into the packaging. You have to pay for postage up-front, but this is also supposed to be refunded (successfully in my experience). It's clunky compared with nice clean Australia Post-run return systems used by other online stores.
The seller may or may not be Amazon themselves (and Amazon Marketplace is a bit like eBay so you can end up dealing with some random Chinese seller via Amazon's customer communication system). But everyone is protecting their reputation for the sake of reviews, so it's not terrible.
I recently returned three items bought on Amazon from different sellers. It took a while, but I received all three refunds, including postage. One seller in the US whose English was not good negotiated with me via Amazon's system. They didn't want the hassle of receiving a small non-fitting clothing item back from Australia, so we agreed on a 35% refund AND I was able to give the item to a friend.
some random Chinese seller
say's " 30-day money-back guarantee for any reason"
Bought one from Kogan, love the watch but it was charging less and less every day until it stopped.
Returned it, got refund (no more stock).Ordered it again from this deal, maybe I will have a better luck this time…
Thanks OPBeen looking to replace my old Pebble for months and this is just barely within impulse purchase range, thanks OP!
Anyone else have issue with the charging POGO pins corroding after use for a while? I have the E version and some of the pins are getting pits and getting harder to charge.
I had a Samsung watch that went to the dump because the charging pads got TOTALLY corroded.
Is it from the sweat? I did not use it much in the ocean…I did not use it much in the ocean…
Was it in the Red Sea?
My old 1st gen LG G watch also went the same way. But they apparently did a firmware fix to stop the pins from having any voltage and causing the corrosion with the skin/ sweat? I would've thought now with few generations of smartwatches they would've fixed this kind of issue. My next watch would definitely have to have wireless charging. Just seeing how easy my wife charge her apple watch, makes me jealous.
Going to get one. Anyone know if this can link to fitbit. My wives and daughters all have fitbits and its fierce competition every week, also is it 12% shopback on watches or do they put this in small device bracket.
Bought one, thanks OP!
Never heard of it. Is it any good?
How much is it normally?
