Its either brand new, refurbished or second hand. There is no "near new".

      Yep, it's taking the piss

    • I bought an iPhone 8 that were listed as “new condition” from this company. The phone arrived in a dirty phone box that weren’t sealed. The phone itself looked fine (with no original plastic). I returned it right away.

The two conditions that were listed are “new” and “as new”. Very misleading

      • Just to clarify, your issue was with the box that the phone was shipped in? That wouldn't phase me- I consider "as new" to mean second-hand and in good condition.

No, my issue was not only with the box. I purchased a “new” phone, not “as new”, therefore I expected the phone to come in a factory sealed box.

          • @Prince K: They make it pretty clear I reckon:

@carpecrash: They make it clear that a “new” phone comes with a dirty box and is obviously a second hand phone?
They would not have agreed to a refund if I didn’t have a case

My concern would be how near to new is it.

    Near is a broad term.

    • 6 months SELLER warranty. I'd paid the extra $32 for 12 months warranty which is valid at any google authorised repairer.

      • How and where do you get this Google warranty for $32?
