Even cheaper (only $5 but still!) than the previous deal which makes this the cheapest so far for those who are looking for a gigantic monitor!

I remember I bought a 17" and thought I was top shit and then my friend got a 19".
Doesn't make intuitive sense how much larger that is.
Using this very same monitor right now. Brilliant to use when sitting a couple of metres away. Think I might have bought mine $20 cheaper but that included cashback from Phillips.
So not great for desk based work? I'm still using 2x 24"
I'm currently sitting about 1 meter away. At this distance, I have to scale up everything to be able to easily read.
If you have a deep desk, go for this one. Otherwise, better to go with a smaller one.
I'm using 55" about 1 and a half arm lengths away and it's great for desktop work provided your OK with some window resizing (drag to edges and corners usually) and not working maximised.
I usually use windows I'm working in at the bottom and put less used windows across the top. If the working window occupies the bottom half of the screen the size and area of the windows is wider and larger than an ultrawide.
Yes, I bought mine cheaper as well but that included cashback from Shopback. This price is the cheapest without cashbacks.
HDMI 2.0?
I got an older 4k 40" Philips from a few years ago. Cost me about $1k and that was a good price then. This is insane
Yes, has all the ports and all versions of HDMI.
Can this be used as TV and occasional monitor?
As you know it does not have the tuner. So as long as you attach a casting device to it, yes, why not!?
According to the research I've done, it's better to use a monitor as a TV instead of using a TV as a monitor due to the better response time and chroma subsampling of monitors.
However, be aware that this monitor does not have any thick antireflection coating (it's not matte) so despite better color reproduction for that matter expect a lot of reflection.
thnx
I remember when 19" monitors first came out and cost $2K - $3K..
