Wish they'd space at least two of these wider. Whenever there is a good board, it's all crampedAF.

From the product page: "Good spacing and solid feel for plugs (nothing feels loose!)"

      • Need an 8 socket =,[

        • Just bought the same model with 8 socket from bunnings for $42. You can price match it in office works to bring it down to 39.90

    • +2

Yeah, it shouldn't be so hard to have an 8 (or even 10) port with ample space between all ports.

I don't know how manufacturers fail so hard to offer something so obvious.

    • yeah i dont understand why they have to have them like that, i have to naughtily daisy chain some powerboards because they dont fit, but i make sure the loada is under the kW load rating). I wish we had power squids in aus ( https://www.google.com/search?q=power+squid&tbm=isch), they are awesome

Apparently this lot had them 9 years ago https://www.ji.com.au/products/PEXB88/ but don't seem to anymore.

I have been using this for few years now and happy so far. Only I could wish if it had an individual switch.

    • Why?

      • +2

        Why not?

For people like me that have a zillion consoles connected that don't need to be drawing standby power 99% of the time

        • Didnt think they draw more power than a phone charger plugged in and not charging?, but yah valid point

  • Thank you op. Bought one.

  • got it for $18 from office work last time

"Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 months" ?? Seriously??

    • +1

Means someone hoovered up remaining stock which is a pain in the ass

    • Ugh that's a hard no from me then.

I have half a dozen of these Belkin boards (8 plug version with USB). They're pretty good.

  • "Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 months"…

  • I wonder what's OzBargain's favourite powerboard.

  • What’s the cord length on this Belkin?

Also would the USB ports work on Mini NES, SNES, PS1?

    • I don't see why you would have an issue running the mini's. Can't guarantee anything though.

      • +3

Tested working with mini nes and snes and it’s 2m cord

        • Thanks!!!

  • +1

so much wasted space? why cramp the 6 plugs together and have almost half the board for the switch

    • Agree. Poor design. Apparently it is still popular.

  • do the USB ports output 12W each?

  • Seeing as dick Smith/Kogan have it for $27, would Bunnings (that have it more readily in stock than OW) price match) this?

    • +1

I just got OW to price beat for 2x powerboards so Bunnings should do if normally stocked item, manager call due to big price difference potentially but try your luck!

          Thanks champ

Jesus H. I just received delivery from Amazon. The box is 47 x 21cm and the powerboard fills most of it. This things is the world's most cumbersome powerboard!
