    TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitters/Receivers BA09 $38.99

This would be great if my TV had an audio jack

Why do Panasonic TVs not have audio jacks !!!!!!!!!!!

    • +3

      You should sue Panasonic!!!!!!!!!

If your Panasonic has either Optical or RCA jacks you can still use the BA09. The BA07 has an RCA adapter as well.

      • +1

        has either Optical

        Awesome… thanks…

    • +2

Bought on the previous sales, very happy with it, it works well with my Sony 4K TV, great to watch TV quietly.

  • I grabbed a few things in a previous sale, the car Bluetooth dongle works really well for music, only thing I noticed was recently it won't power on from a normal car USB but works perfectly fine if it's a QC3 USB. I already have a QC 3 plug for the car so all good but a bit strange as it was originally happy with normal USB.

    • +1

That does sound a bit strange. It might be the cord, or the dongle might need a Factory reset.

Contact TaoTronics friendly support staff and they will help you sort that out.

      [email protected]

      • k will do

  • +1

    Thanks for the deal.

  • wow do you guys just really love making bluetooth transmitters/receivers?

  • Just remember these models do not receive aptx although there is little noticable difference.

  • +1

    Awesome! Picked up a TT-BA09
My series 7 Samsung only has an optical out and not an audio jack, so annoying!!

Now to wait for the TaoTronics Hybrid sale :)

    • +3

They don't have enough stock of the BH046 Hybrid ANC Headphones right now but they hope to be able to send more stock to Australia in a few weeks time.

If you or anyone else would like to be notified of a deal for any TaoTronics, VAVA, HooToo, Anjou, Sable or RAVPower product, please send me a private message with the product in the title and I will be happy to let you know :)

  • Weird question, but does anyone know if a Chromecast transmitter with an optical in or anything similar exists?

    • I want to know this as well, Does TaoTronics have a receiver that Android device (including Google Home) can cast to? Given that there are devices (TV, Speakers, audio receivers) that have Chromecast capability built-in, it suggests that Google allows such thing?

      • Hey Mate. To my knowledge, they don't have anything with Chromecast built in. But if any device with Chromecast has a 3.5mm, RCA or Optical jack then you can use one of the above products to transmit the audio via Bluetooth.

      • +1

Chromecast audio actually has an optical out in the same socket as the 3.5mm. You just need their specific cable.

        • Thanks, but what I am after is a bit different. I have a source which can output audio via optical, which I would like to cast to a group (am after a chromecast transmitter with optical input, not receiver like chromecast audio)

          • +1

@full0085: Yup, I was responding to peuwaya
Below suggestion from mentok should help in your case

    • +2

To my knowledge, no, but if you're a little bit useful with nerdy stuff there are other ways…

you can input your optical source to your computer and stream all your system audio from windows using a package like this: https://github.com/acidhax/chromecast-audio-stream

you can use a USB soundcard with optical in attached to a linux box (like a raspberry pi) running snapcast. A little config and you can pipe the input audio into a snapcast server which can then distribute the audio to any running snapcast clients (like other raspberry pis) on the network. This would be much more energy efficient than running a windows box exclusively to stream audio, but requires you to have snapclients for all your playback devices…

      • can we directly cast from android to snapcast client? and would Google Home recognise the device as well? Thanks.

        • Nope. Snapcast is completely independent of google cast. It just broadcasts a filestream (audio) from the server to any connected clients. Very useful and robust, but not compatible with other cast protocols.

          • @Mentok: Thanks for your info @Mentok. Though I can see useful in other situations but not what I am after.

  • Just note that for TT-BA09, AptX is only used in the transmitter mode. You will experience a big audio delay in receiver mode.

  • Are these being delivered from within Australia?

Which is better for home use? BR05 or BR06? I just want to attach a set of my kid's headphones to it so they can listen to audio books in their bedroom without having to use a phone.

  • Have been looking all over the internet for a similar device but as USB dongle so I can easily plug it to my PC and enjpy some aptX from my headphone but could not find any. Can anybody help me?

    • The BA07 will hang from your Audio socket and you can plug it into USB for power.

    • +1

There is this Avantree Aptx USB dongle that advertises aptX, but check out the reviews. Avantree also have some non-dongle format transmitters as well.

      • Yes, saw that but it's aged now as it only supports Bluetooth 4.1 not even 4.2 let alone 5. Have a similar 4.1 adapter and it stutters during gaming. Saw reviewers saying the same about this as well. Anyway almost 50 bucks for an outdated dongle seems really expensive.

So my quest for a dongle with no battery continues!

  • +1

Tonight we have a some deals

    It’s a me, Mario!

Oh and what time tonight, deal doesn’t show up a yet.

    • Nvm, me-a stupid

    • +1

      Haha, Well a spotted.

  • I bought the BH060 in the Easter sale. The item came unsealed and the box has scratches all over like it's used. The product itself .. don't think can be sure it wasn't used considering the quality it arrived in.

    • +1

You shouldn't have received a used item as SunValley only sell new items through Amazon.

But contact their friendly support staff at [email protected] and they will help you solve that mystery.

      • Thank you, I will send some pics.

  • anything that will work for a car? with a mic, if possible.

    • Yes, both the BR05 & BR06 in this post will work for you. They both have Mic's

      • the BR04 seems a better option, do you have them ?

        • +1

The BR04 is out of stock for the moment, it is a good product that I use in my car.

I will push them for a code as soon as it is back in stock.

If you would like me to let you know when I have a deal send me a private message with BR04 in the title.

    • You want the BR04 which doesn't seem to be in this sale

  • How would you pair some BT headphones to these?

    • +2

Put them and this in pairing mode - this seems to actively pair to devices in pairing mode.

    • They all have buttons that you press to pair with other devices. They will all Automatically re-pair as well.

  • +1

Bought the TaoTronics TT-SK018 for the missus computer. Will review how it goes!

  • In your amazon US link for TT-BA09 and TT-BA07, it showed units with Bluetooth 5.0.
What are the difference between that and Bluetooth 4.1?

    • I have a related question. When will Australia get the BT 5.0 version of the TT-BA07 units?

  • Anyone know if the car Bluetooth eliminates alternator whine? Hoping it would, if the devices actually runs off its own battery.

  • @xev any deals for the long range version i.e. this one? https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Rece…

  • If I am transmitting via optical out on my blu ray player to the blutooth on my 5.1 soundbar, will it be able to transmit the 5.1 channels, ie dolby digital etc. soundbar can do atmos but i already know that atmos is only available via hdmi.

    Thanks, Glenn

  • Bought the TaoTronics TT-BA09 Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver
Not really happy as it seems to halve the volume and even at max volume is not really "listenable"

    • Hi Mate, Send an email through to their support staff at [email protected] and they will help you sort it out.

      • They didn’t respond which is disappointing

        • Can you please send me a private message with your order number and email address and I will follow that up for you :)

  • Any review on the soundbar? Good for TV usage?

  • RE: TaoTronics TT-BA09
Does this transmitter/receiver do Optical pass-through?

Meaning, I can input optical from the TV,
and then the output optical can be fed to another device (e.g. surround sound, etc.)

This is so that, when I don't need to use the transmitter,
I can still receive optical sound into the surround sound receiver (optical via the TaoTronics)

( I'm happy owner of a Taotronics AptX Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver & Vava bluetooth earphones too )

    • +1

Hi Mate, I don't know if it will work that way but to make sure contact [email protected] and one of the SunValley elves will assist you :)

  • Code for TT-BA07 not working. Any suggestions?
