  • How long is “lifetime” ? I know most companies say this and then offer only lasts 3-5 years.

    • +1

I've had a lifetime license with them since 2015 with no issues. It's not rated highly for privacy and logging controls but Netflix and Hotstar works fine :)

      • That's still within 3-5 years

        • +1

Even if that's the case, it would work out USD $4/year for 5 years which seems a pretty legit deal - to me atleast

    • 'Lifetime' subscription adds 100 years of unlimited access to our VPN servers. We will gladly extend this period by your request.

I found this on their website

      • Lol, might as well say 1billion years

    • You can definitely trust your privacy with Ponzi scheme operators. Many legitimate businesses can't setup VPNs securely because of complex configuration, I bet Ponzi scheme operators do it worse though.

  • Can you get Netflix US with this?

    • Yes and 4K works fine

      • Are you sure? My one never works.

        • +3

Yes, there is a specific Netflix US server. It's listed as one line item.

@D S N: Oh! noticed there is a "Streaming Server" in the list. Thank you. Tried and works, but little bit slow.

  • How fast is it? anyone have experience using this VPN?

    • Depends on the location of the server you pick. My base connection is 100MBps and with a connection to the Sydney server, I get speeds up to 70-80 MBps

      • Does this Sydney server link to Netflix US?

        • +1

Nope, completely separate server. Netflix doesn't work with the Sydney server as it detects the use of a VPN/proxy

          • @D S N: You have to select their specific Netflix server. It works perfectly and gives you access to all US shows too. They also have a server dedicated for BBC iPlayer.

    • Tell the truth, don't expect too much on this. It works, but quite slow. I have it for years only for emergency connection for some case.

    • With no actual performance numbers, and regularly bolding the marketing numbers, this screams of being a paid ad.

At the very least they’re over selling it likely due to getting a commission on click throughs.

      • It was more of a feature list.

        For rankings, see the spreadsheet near the bottom of page here;

FWIW: I use Windscribe (for Netflix) and Fastest VPN (for Peer to Peer). I am indifferent to VPN Unlimited as I have never tried them.

  • Any success with UK free to air TV content? and any Geo location issues, specifically Europe?
