        Just a note, props to this rep for altering things based on feedback. There were 3 neg votes on this deal within a short space of time, and the rep was quick to alter prices to be cheaper. 🙂

      Do non-eBay plus members see a different price on that $215 version?

      I was looking through dozens of listings yesterday and bought it from futu for $224. Did not see the $215 listing at all! Going to cancel and buy at the cheaper price naturally

    When would you buy a Ryzen 5 or 7 ?

    Assuming they are just going to go down, down in price as the new Ryzen approaches.

      As far as I can tell the rumours seem to indicate that the Ryzen 3000 series will be announced By Lisa Su at Computex Keynote Presentation in a few weeks with a product launch shortly after, possibly June.
      One thing backing up that rumour is a few motherboard manufacturers have indicated they will be launching new X570 motherboards at Computex.
      All still rumours so take it with a pinch of salt.
      I have no information on actual launch date or pricing yet. I have my fingers crossed and hoping for something as good as rumoured in the Adored TV video.

      Personally I will be upgrading my 1700x in my own system to one of the Ryzen 3000 series chips when it comes out.

      Based on what I've seen with the 1600 (not sure on r7), it's unlikely the 2600 will drop below this price (that $220 mark) to close to release. Even now, lowest r5 1600 I could find in Aus was $180 (this was a week~ ago when Amazon had the chip in stock from Amazon US)

    Thanks for the feedback. I didn't notice the lower prices you shared as I only saw the base price when I searched the same items (sorting by lowest + postage).

    Kinda pricey for the 2600. Got mine for 215 in Oct and occasionally fell as low as ~206

    X570 motherboards released as well the 3000 CPU's can use current AM4 boards feature of the x570 l think is PCle 4.0

      Really looking forward to the new X570 motherboards and Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. Could certainly be worth waiting if you're not in a hurry to buy a new CPU, I've suggested that to a lot of people if they don't mind waiting or not quite ready to buy :-)
