  • What are the best noise cancelling in ear headphones?

I suppose they gonowhere near the QC35 and the Sony's?

    • Would also be interested in knowing this

QC20 if you want wired option. QC30 if you want wireless. They provide good noise canceling, with and without audio playing.

The advantage of over the ear headphones is that they also provide noise isolation that is a little better than in ear buds.

      • Cheers!

Yeah that is true. I have the QC35 and they are great for noise cancelling but for bringing to work the case is a bit big to fit into my bag with my gym stuff.

Was wondering if the NC wireless ones can still do a good job to block out noise.

      • Also over the ear are better if you wear specs.

        • That makes no sense. Why would over-ear (which press against the arm of specs) be better than in-ear (which have no contact with the specs at all).

          • @ak47wong: Forgot to mention, I was comparing over the ear with ON ear.

I have both sony xm3 and QCI (not II). they very similar in noise cancellation and QC you can control the level of noise cancellation through app and sony directly from the headphone. Sony has few more tricks on their headset.

Sony has slightly better sound but QC is more comfortable. I use QC for work\train and Sony at home\ps4\pc\music.

  • Thanks OP just picked up a pair of Silver QC 35s with 2mins to spare.
