I actually view & pass on the bargains on this section, never in forum
Is it me or is their chicken just awful? I would not even take it for free. Once and never again.
i find it amazing.. we just use a bit of peri peri sauce and redo a bit in oven!
Agreed - at least from Marsden Park.
Tastes vary of course but it works for us but then I would normally season a chicken before cooking and whatever I go with it will inevitably include salt, pepper, lemon etc….
Costco use Steggles chickens as clearly indicated on the label.
Always seems raw there. Like the meat is still red or kind of translucent. Fairly flavourless aswell
@krisspy: Agreed, our recent one had a massive piece of white gunk that was supposed to be meat? Surely didn't taste like it, couldn't keep it down.
@2stroksmokr: These negative reviews are making me want to go there so I can try it for myself.
Are you guys sure you aren't the reverse psychology Costco shills…
@mapax: The rest of the meat is good - at least at Casula.
@OZBMate8911: That settles it, going to have to find someone with a membership so I can tag along.
@2stroksmokr: We had that white gunk in it too. It looked distinguishing. The Magpies did enjoy it though when I threw it out. It may depend where you buy it from?
It's too salty.
Imo it's great, better than many charcoal chicken places and makes Coles chooks look pathetic.
It is very salty but I guess that's personal preference
YUCK at Auburn NSW
Depends when you have it.
I thought it was strangeless awesome as its so juicy.
I've since read that its pumped full of saline to do this, witha dded salt to increase flavour
This in turns means it doesnt have any real flavour. Not noticeable for some when having it fresh
But very noticeable later, that is if you frezze the leftovers or try to use it for stock its useless
Don't you have to be a current or former military service person to take advantage of this offer?
It says family members, but how does one prove that? Or perhaps family accompanying a service person.
Thank you for your service, Costco.
Defence hour?? all that's missing is an American flag…
Welcome to Costco, I love you.
Hi, I love you too. I'm here for the free chicken?
As an Army veteran it's nice to businesses looking out for veterans, well done Costco.
does it count if someone were ex military of a place other than Australia?
Anyone got the coupons. What are they?
did anyone manage to get it cheaper then $60
$60 is normal price
But the coupons is where you sort of get some of ur money…
Free chicken is $6 plus bagels are $10, plus the other stuff on the coupons
You will go at least 5 times a year
They have hot dogs & unlimited drink refills for $2
IS this something that should be in the forums as it's targeted?
