Only worked on mobile for me

      • +1

tried opening on mobile still got the error :(

  • +2

I saw this pop up on my computer, couldn't get it to work at all.. Just tried the link on my phone, I got further into the process but it still wouldn't work..

It would just open up the Uber Eats app and do nothing further..

    • Same

    • +5

if you save it for later, it should send you an email with the code

      • Thanks, that worked for me

  • +1

    Worked, thank you

.. the Facebook link did try to jump to Uber Eats app too quickly to copy the code. I had to quickly take a screen shot, as it transitioned, then manually type the code into Uber Eats.

  • +1

The people who are getting the broken link error message make sure to open the UberEats app first before you click the link, the. You will see the offer come up make sure to “save” the offer then you will be present led with a code which you can add into your ubereats app.

      Still doesn’t work for me

    • +1

Got to use mobile, then open facebook app from link.

  • -1

    Fank you OP :)

  • +2

Clicking on the link in FB either opens the app straight away (mobile) or straight to the Uber Eats webpage (desktop) for me.
No code to put in the promo field. Not able to stop the redirect to Uber Eats to try and get a code.

    • Nevermind - FINALLY got an email with the code eventually after saving the offer. (Took a couple of goes :-s)

    • Mine did the same - check your emails as you get an email from Facebook with the code in the email ;)

Edit - looks like you did that anyway 👍

    • FB site on Android in Desktop mode, saved offer for later. Offers > Active Offers in Wallet shows offer with code at bottom. (No code in email received, just link to saved offer.)

  • Thanks, 👍

"Sorry this content isn't available right now"

    • See my post below - once you’ve opened the link in a mobile browser you should get the option to redirect to the app at the top of the screen.

    • -8

      It works. Grow up.

  • +2

Thanks OP - for those having trouble (and using an iPhone), click the link, then open in Facebook app, then hit the “get your code button” on the post, then hit “tap for offer details”, then there will be a button next to shop now that copies the code to your clipboard.

  • Thanks OP

  • Isn't Menulog cheaper as it usually doesn't charge delivery fee?

    • +1

      Menulog doesn't charge delivery?

    • "usually" is a rather strong word. Other then red rooster none of the stores that deliver to my house offer free delivery on menulog.
One store the delivery price to my house is minimum spend $25 + $25 delivery.
But could be worse one other suburb the minimum spend $25 + $50 delivery. I don't even know why anyone would bother. The rest charge a normal ~$7.

    • Usually restaurants will jack their prices to cover Menulog’s fees.

  • +2

Cheers OP. Knowing Uber's track record I won't be upvoting till the code is used and done.

  • +3

the codes appear to be in this pattern 5off6j4XXX (XXX is alphanumeric)

    • +1

      Mine is 5off6j5XXX

anyone have a different number after the j?

  • Worked for me thanks!

If you're on iOS Safari, press and hold the Reload button, then select Request Desktop Site.

    • +1

Thanks forumninja, worked for me after trying this. Didn’t know holding the reload button did that. Learnt something new!

  • Nom nom Friday night dinner sorted and goes nicely with the free video ezy kiosk rental deal haha

  • Bit of an effort but it worked. Thanks!

  • Easy done, thanks OP

How exactly do I get the code? I opened the facebook link, "shop now", and it redirects me to Ubereat's home page even after I log in?

    • Same

    • +2

clicked save for later, which provides link to your offers, also allegedly emails you as well

      • Had to search for the email. It was there and just added the code.
        Appears to be valid.

        • I don't have any email…

          • @burgermaniac: Did you look in "All Mail" by any chance? Was not in my Primary Inbox, nor social or promotions and I checked Spam. Only place I could find it was there (Gmail).

  • +3

Anyone get 'something went wrong' as well?

    • Me too. Link kaput?

      • Just worked fine for me on my laptop

      • Read the comments above - a few different fixes.

  • +1

Doesn't appear to be working right now

  • If you guys are on mobile it won't work unless you use desktop site in the browser options…

  • +3

Thanks worked for me on mobile (after I requested desktop site).
Took me to the Uber Eats app and then I just had to go back to the tab I had open, click save for later.
Then I just had to search through my emails to find the code, and then back to the Uber Eats code to add promotion and enter the code.

What a whole lot of work for essentially just free delivery..

  • Code lasts until 1st June for me. Worth having this coupon around for when you need it.

  • Thanks OP, it worked :)

  • +1

    Sorry, something went wrong.
We are working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can.

    • On mobile? Try request desktop site (in browser options)

Food prices are always few bucks higher when ordered with menulog/Deliveroo/ubereats + delivery charges, me thinks no deal, total rip off. Like, Guzman burritos are $11.70 in store, and get charged $14 for same with delivery guys + delivery fee!! Any thoughts?

    • +1

Yep, these delivery services double dip on both restaurant and customer. I think they take about 30% commission from the restaurant, and we pay for the driver. Not worth it, I just go order directly.

    • Yeah - That's why I try to find restaurants that doesn't increase price. Sometimes $1 extra isn't too bad paired with a voucher.

Tomorrow is also Guzman's $5 burrito. I wonder if people will order from them via menulog / ubereats tomorrow lol.

  • Worked for me

  • Could not get link to work on iPhone.

I clicked link on desktop - click save for later - this sends you an email

The code appears when you click link in email

  • +1

Link initially gave error on Android. On the error screen I activated desktop mode on my browser and it worked.

Tapped 'save for later' and received email with code. Thanks.

  • Worked thanks!

  • If mobile isn't working, force chrome to open up in desktop mode and use the desktop link.

  • Free delivery for Sat night after fiddling around to get desktop version of the browser page. Thanks!

  • Link doesn't work for me. Facebook default message saying Sorry.

  • This still works for me. Just hit "save offer" on desktop and it sent me a promo code.

  • Desktop link still works.

  • +1

    thanks Op :)

  • No longer working? "Sorry, something went wrong"

    • +1

Try desktop link. the mobile one didn't work for me.

      • Cheers, looks like only works with desktop version of facebook

  • Worked. Used the provided desktop link and pressed "Save for later". Received an email instantly with the code.

  • It doesn't work anymore

    • just clicked the offer, it still works. Until 31st May. Get in quick

  • Anyone got a code they haven't used? Could really use one right now. Thanks.
