Help Name My New Business??

Greetings all, I'm in the process of creating a business which will offer coaching in marketing, client creation, sales processes, supply chains and strategies, I've been dreaming up all sorts of alternatives but am unhappy with my own stuff so was wondering if the ozbargain community might be able to help?
Ideally the name should be available as a url https://www.ezihosting.com/ and as an Australian business name https://help.register.business.gov.au/businessnamecheck?

Some guidelines I ripped off the net..

How to choose a name for your business
Be descriptive but not too general or vague. Don't choose a name that is too vague or too meaningful. …
Use related words in a creative way. …
Keep it simple. …
Don't copy your competitors. …
Avoid using your own name. …
Choose a name that's scalable. …
Make sure you have a related domain

Any suggestions will be much appreciated, piss taking encouraged, eternal gratitude for the "winning entry", should it materialise.

Cheers

I find it strange that you want to offer coaching in marketing but can't come up with your own business name…

Fair enough, it's just that there is far more potential in a collaboration of minds than a single view..

Can you give us some examples of some of the names you have been considering?

Shouldn't you already be able to do that with your two brains?

        • It's always the way! You own profession is the hardest to complete. A builders house is never finished, A mechanic has the worst car etc

          • @Geoff897: Politicians understanding legislation.

You need a name that’s cutting edge, like Cutco… Edgecom… Interslice.

      How about compuglobalhypermeganet?

Fine, it's not important. What really matters is your title. You should make yourself vice president. No, wait! Junior vice president!

2Head Marketing (since you have two brains)

Scalable as you can eventually call it 4Head Marketing

    • +4

You could go one better and add definition and call it 4k Head Marketing. (4k is pronounced fork)

    • "2Head Marketing", would surely resonate with the Tasmanian market! (sry Tassie, I love you)

  • Definitely incorporate 'synergy' in the name.

Even more important than an available domain and business name is ensuring it’s not trademarked already. The other two are irrelevant if you can’t own the trademark.

  • There are plenty of great books and professional companies that can help you with naming your business. Asking the general public isn't generally the way to go. While it's nice to have different perspectives on the matter, naming a business for commercial success is a skill and generally follows a specialized set of rules and formulas that need to be considered.

As with any branding elements (logo, slogan, colour scheme etc), you should ensure it follows the Brand Elements Criteria - http://marketingnow.byethost7.com/2015/12/26/how-to-choose-b…

Some are more important than others in your particular case, being a B2B provider. Some of the greatest corporate brands have a name that virtually meant nothing before they used it. Think McKenzie Associates, Facebook, LinkedIn, Forbes, Goldman Sachs etc. While a good and relevant name is important, you should focus on your business operations giving the name meaning, not the name giving the business meaning.

    Cheers.

  • I always like Lenono or microhard
