Woolworths Mobile $30 Starter Kit for $10 (Unlimited Calls and Texts, 10GB + 15GB New Customer Bonus Data)

190

In the $10/Month target, Woolworths using Telstra giving good data allowance. If you have a new email account it looks like you get an extra 15GB on top of the standard 10GB.

Please check T&C for expiry details, believe activation required by end May for the bonus data.

I just activated a number I have rolled many times so will see on Monday if the extra GB is allocated.

Other deals on the linked page might appeal, more data available, different price bands.

Other networks offer better, but if your already on Kogan this makes a good 30 day port.

  • Nice. Great opportunity to test Telstra service. This promotion is only valid for the initial purchase correct? Which means that any further recharge will revert to $30?

Woolies is Telstra wholesale, which is mostly Telstra. If you want full Telstra retail with better regional coverage and VoLTE, you need Boost (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/452198) or Telstra.

    • Yes. It’s a discount on the starter kit. Possibly also available in store this week.

Edit: Yep. Available today and tomorrow link

  • Hey OP,
When you activated the Sim Card, were you forced to provide Credit Card details to setup auto top up?

    • Yes, last time I ported (a week ago), you had no other option but to enter a CC 😣
Then you have to wait until you have setup an account password & porting/activation is complete, before you can turn off auto recharge.

    • Yes. It’s really annoying.

If you put in an invalid card number, it skips over to 'set up later'.

      • Damn, I tried that, I changed the last number.
Must not have saw it. I usually do this stuff on a PC but was out.

  • Yep CC required, but not charged and possible to remove auto recharge immediately after activation. It's just a trap in case you forget to grab the full recharge in 30 days.

  • its back to $15 it seems

  • Thanks, updated expired
