Mine too. Pretty happy with the fast delivery.

        • When did you order yours and what was the estimated delivery?

          • @dv1den: On Tuesday night when the post was 1 hour old. Email shows the estimated delivery date to be May 3rd-9th.

Some may want an extra one?

You can just create multiple Spotify family accounts for $17.99 each.

        • Can you definitely do this? I want to but unsure whether shipping address will make it invalid.

          • @snoopydoop: I'd think it requiring a 'family' account would probably make the second unit to the same address invalid, but, don't quote me on that!

            • @MahyarJ: Me too - but thought maybe because it's fulfilled by Google, Spotify won't even know about it. Think I'm not going to risk it.

              • @snoopydoop: Haha wait till someone else confirms they were successful, then have at it! :P.

          • @snoopydoop: Since you get a code to redeem via the Google store, I don't think this would be an issue.

  • 44 bucks? Blahahahah

  • There are many sealed Google home minis on gumtree for $20. Purchased 4 so far(2 for me and 2 for family). Works like treat since a year

      None I can find

      • Sort by lowest price. There's plenty that I can see

        • thanks, looks like I had limit my search by setting my post code

          • @AsukaST: Ah, nevermind then. I would recommend just grabbing one through Spotify instead though, cheaper and more reliable.

      • Huh? Start from $19 here, there's dozens of them for $20. Or skip the middleman and grab one from Spotify for just $17.99.

      • +1

I can get you one for $20 with you want

      • Check out redditbay to get one for $7 if ya want to go down that road

people are paying $18 for spotify premium to get a google home mini then reselling them for $20? Wow a whole $2 profit or if you look at it another way you get premium for a month for free. Is it even worth dealing with all the messages on gumtree of people sending low ball offers just to get a months worth of spotify? lol

      • +1

You can get it cheaper if you sign up for trial or as a student I believe. Also, there's people like me that grabbed the home mini totally free as we already had the family subscription. Don't really have any need for the home mini, so if I was less lazy, I might have tried to sell it.

      • They may have had Premium or Family plans already and simply didn't want the device. I doubt too many signed up specifically to make $2 profit.

  • Lol

Got mine for $3.60 through the Tic Tac Spotify comp.
Upgraded account to Family, claimed the Mini. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/7198802/redir

  • $44 isn't a good deal even without considering the codes.

  • Get one from gumtree $20

  • Surely you'd be better off just using your phone. You have it on you anyway, it can do all the same things plus it has a screen which is much more useful.

    • Yeah, but if you have one, you can ask your phone to turn on your lights using your GHM when you're not home or Broadcast a message saying to start dinner or you're coming home or something

Google I/O is in the next couple of weeks, wonder if they are dumping these with something new coming

  • Please, hand in your ozbargain license if you pay more than $18 for the google home mini!! (can get it for $5.99 if sign up for student premium on spotify then upgrade to family)
