Thanks. Done.
3gm ram. Will struggle
Kogan sells the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version for $281.99 with shipping.
Oz stock and warranty vs gery import?
I would still go with the gary import honestly considering the specs and price.
All direct import products are backed by a 1 Year Standard Care Warranty according to Kogan.
HV has 24 months Aus warranty and you can get discount gift card here so you may not end up paying more for HV
@SnoozeAndLose: Interesting. I assume it's a discount gift card given from a previous HV purchase you made and is usable for any HV purchases?
Always good with the extra warranty but the Kogan and HV Nokia phones we're comparing are slightly different to each other. Personally and as a sensible user I think the overall best deal is from Kogan.
Kogan warranty… whatever that's worth. Have you seen the multitude of comments and threads on OzBargain regarding issues when trying to claim under Kogan warranty?
@tranter: Assuming you have to go so far and there is a fault with the device. I haven't dealt with them personally but I'm 100% sure it's not something negative that affects everyone who deals with Kogan warranty.
@Ragoon: You are probably right that it doesn't affect everyone who claims under Kogan warranty but that doesn't mean it's not an issue to consider when buying. It clearly is an issue looking at Kogan warranty feedback on OzBargain over a long period of time.
Buyers need to be aware that a Kogan warranty is not equal to a local warranty.
Darn, I must have missed it. It now says $289+shipping at Kogan?
I would wait for 7 plus for $400
Sure, if that's in your budget. This phone is in a different category and priced accordingly.
U mean lower range?
Yes. The Nokia 7 Plus is a better phone in nearly all aspects. But it costs more as well.
@tranter: Hundred $$ more isnt arm and leg when the phone is better in all aspects
@SnoozeAndLose: It doesn't really make sense what you say. The reason I found this phone is because I'm looking for a phone for my mother and it's just within her price bracket. She suffered a stroke a few years ago and has to really watch her money for the rest of her life. That sort of money might be nothing for you but it doesn't mean that's the case for everyone.
@tranter: I said I would wait for doesnt means that it is not a good deal or everyone need to follow.
Everyone had the own budget but IMO i prefer to eait for 7 plus on sale again
@SnoozeAndLose: Fair enough! It initially appeared to me that you were speaking generally with your arm and leg comment.
@tranter: If money it’s important you might consider Alcatel phones often under $100, they don’t shine but they do their job of basic phones
Whats the story with the white one looking half the size of the black one?
I think it’s genetic.
Recently bought a S/H Nokia 6.1 from ebay, only 2 months old, as new condition, with original receipt from HN and remainder of 24 month warranty for $170. Phone is zippy enough for me, came from a iphone 6 and the Nokia kills it in terms of speed, battery life and build quality. Its one of the strongest consumer phones on the market in terms of build quality and strength.
yep and xiaomi at this price point doesn’t have nfc or band 28,
Sale seems to be finished now
Just picked up my Nokia 6.1 from office works this morning, $289 [Old Price tag allowed me to get it at this] New price is now $319 JB HiFi are $399 !
Doing all the updates as we speak Happy so far!
Replacing my Mi5x also known as MiA1 I unfortunately bricked the unit [Might be able to get it working again]
Till then happy days!
Should probably edit the title to say 3GB RAM not 3G. I got confused haha
