There seems to be no PVR function via USB but otherwise a good deal for the price.
32 inch LCD TV
Full HD 1080p
LED-edgelit
3-year warranty for TV (1 year for blu-ray player).
Includes bonus HDMI cable
Mod: Updated link as per OP's request

does anyone know if Big W offers extend warranty?
I think the warranty cards with AWA still give you a number to call if you'd like to purchase extended warranty from AWA themselves…although why you would on a sub $500 TV is beyond me?
$500 to some people is an entire months dole money so they want to get extended warranty to protect the tax payers investment……
ROFLMAO…I'll pay that one! :)
It really depends on how cheap the warranty is if it's worth it or not. At Clive Peeters an extended 2 year warranty (total 3 years) can be had for as little as $49 for a TV. Definitely worth it in that case if you plan to keep it for a while.
Don't forget, statutory warranty actually supersedes manufacturer's warranty in cases of big ticket items for which there is a reasonable expectation that the item would last beyond the 12 months; which any reasonable person should expect any TV to do! ;)
Check it out with FT, it's written into the legislation! :)
Yeah, I know. But it's much simpler to buy a cheap extended warranty for peace of mind, especially for TVs. They have the reputation to turn faulty at any time and often the repair cost wouldn't make it worthwhile getting fixed without a warranty (especially for a $500 TV).
I've seen some people claim the statutory warranty successfully without too may problems, but more often than not it's more than a few hassles and delays to get a successful outcome if at all. Sure you can go a step futher and take it to small claims court/tribunal. In the end it's all time, money and hassles that I could do without (except the money, I could do with more of that!).
What is "statutory warranty"?
Is it a LCD or LED? A little bit confused.
It's LCD. Screen backlighting is produced via LEDs positioned along the edges of all 4 sides on the backside of the panel. Advantages of LED backlighting include thinner TV profile and supposedly higher contrast (blacker blacks) and more vibrant, better colour reproduction compared to LCD screens that use the older fluorescent (CCFL) backlighting.
I'd say this is a decent price for a 32" LED 1080p tv.
Add the blu-ray player and it's pretty great value.
I'd still recommend spending the extra dollars to get something nicer, but if you're on a budget this is great.
