A true ozbargainer would base the descision on how great a saving the deal is and go ahead and buy.
Yes, let evolution take care of that allergy.
Sure, just need a good discount on epipens now.
If you have a private health insurance plan with no excess, go right ahead. You'll get a free cushy room in a hospital for a few days with free food and pain killers once you've woken out of your coma.
At this price, this is NUTS!!
RIP Scab.
Time to stock up!
My housemates always eat my nuts when I don't keep them safe.
I hate it when I wake up to find my nuts half eaten :(
I love to put Nobby's salty nuts in my mouth
Do these ever come in glass jars anymore? Not seen one in years.
Packed in Australia from less than 10% Australian ingredients.
Same as the Woolies branded peanuts and same ingredients (except the oil, but both are not that healthy anyway).
For what reason are we supposed to be pay the premium price for Nobby's?
Yes, I was shocked when discovering this a few months ago for what used to be an Australian product. What happened, did it just quietly change to an overseas product with the same price point when it was a quality Australian product? Also, any idea what country the nuts are from? If China, like the growing trend of foods, this is shocking.
Why do you say they are not healthy? Wouldnt nuts be on of the small number of healthy items at a supermarket?
EDIT: Wow, the reviews for this product are so bad since the nuts changed https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/nobby-s-salted-pea… seems they maybe Argentina nuts, which noone likes anymore.
Nuts are healthy, it's just that vegetable (palm oil) and sunflower oil used in those nuts is not considered healthy, but they are known for being cheap.
AFAIK Coles brand peanuts (atleast salted) are 100% Australian, which in my eyes makes it a better product that Nobby's.
Thanks for sharing. Had no idea they weren't Australian nuts. Vote revoked and purchase cancelled.
Not as good and fresh tasting as it used to be. The ALDI peanuts on the other hand are much better and consistently good.
Deez nuts
For some reason Nobbys peanuts are the lowest carb peanuts - half the carbs of say, Aldi or Coles brand. Have no idea why, same ingredients
I like beer nuts and the red flaky mess it brings. In fact, that's the only reason I used to have the desire to nibble Nobby's nuts. That, and the fact generic brands didn't use foil packaging back in the day…kids these days will never know the incomparable hardships inflicted upon us.
Woolworths online is still $7 per pack, wait to see the half price tomorrow
I'm allergic to peanuts tho, should i buy it anyway coz its cheap?
