Don't know about the price, but I'll vote +ve for the SPEED :P

  • SandForce 2281 Chipset… So, so tempting.

Few other stores have the Agility 3 120GB for the same price, as with the 240GB Vertex 3 SSD not including the sony earphones. The free earphones can be had for as cheap as $25

  • yea luckily MWave is close to me and I can pickup for the same price, so unless you needed those cheap sony earphones and dont mind paying the $10-$17 in postage then you can call it a bargain, to me this is not.

a bargain would be sub $200 prices for these drives.. c'mon we know its gonna happen, might as well do it now lmao.

    • MWave have Crucial M4 - 128GB SATA3 MLC SSD for $255 using coupon code: 22140515, but only 20 in stock at this price for the next day.

      • Which is one quarter of the write speed, so why not pay $30 extra for one of the fastest consumer SSDs on the market?

  • Pricing isn't even remotely special, and $69 for the earphones is about double what they actually sell for without even shopping around.

    • Pity it's not $69 (or even $20) off the SSD instead. Now that would be a bargain (and a sold out bargain).

  • I go this ssd for $79 @ NewEgg
    64GB Crucial m4 2.5-inch SATA 6GB/s

Pretty good deal i thought.. all i need for my primary drive

    • And how is it? sounds like a good idea. Does your OS run better? PC boots faster? etc?

      Cheers

      • Just ordered yesterday.. be a while before i get it

I assume this was purchased in the US, and included a mail in rebate at that price… which makes your comment irrelevant here.

      • Nope.. no mail in rebate actually…Whats the point of that for an aussie? NewEgg had a 35 off code. They've sold out now. NewEgg had free shipping to my freight forwarder, who in turn has a special deal with 2kg delivered for free! all the moons aligned :)

        Saw it here:
        http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/51707/newegg-crucial-m4-2.5-…

        • which frieght forwarder did u use? and is the free deal still on?
          thanks

    • wow thats a good deal!! over now i take it?

      • yup, newegg sold out yesterday.. not long after i ordered it luckily for me

  • Pretty good, but I imported a vertex 3 240GB for about $590. So these guys must be making a mint, lower the price!!
