      agreed. can't recommend a router that phones home unknown traffic and this has been reported numerous times.

        Cool but using Google means you lose money unconsciously via tracking and marketing and they cooperate with Governments to allow spying on their citizens including US and AU.

    I reckon RBK50. I have Google Wifi and at times the wireless would drop out for no reason.

      Thanks for that. That doesn't sound good on Google Wifi's behalf.. but was reading reviews apparently netgear Orbi force-pushes out new firmware that always breaks crap either. I read on SSH into the router and can turn that off but that seems really fussy.

        No issues definitely with my rbk50. So far a solid performer. I gave my tp-link, which are very good as well, to my parents. Solid performer too.

    I've never owned Orbi but Wifi has been hassle free for me. I also like remote login/administration using the app so plan to buy for my parents.

  Google WIFI is the only product I bought and got thanked by my Mrs. They cover my two storey home even to the thick wall bathrooms.Just wish they will combine google home and google wifi so I won't have too many cords in my rooms.
