Good price. Note though that the lumens listed is commonly known as the Chinese lumens scale. Actual lumens is probably a tad under 1000 (which is still very bright!)

    • Actual lumens is probably a tad under 1000

      Try 600 at best.

      • potplanty sez: "Try 600 at best."

Yep, on a very good day… using the bestest, strongerest batteries available…

        • Just looked it up and the XML-T6 actually averages 335 lumens. So, it's crap is basically what I'm saying.

          • @Tacooo: Under a cent per lumen..it aint bad..A good 'staple' torch.

          • @Tacooo: The XML T6 can output around 1000 lumens. The 335 figure is per watt for efficiency comparisons.

  • i have one of these. as Gizmo would say - "bright light"

  • False and misleading. As above, 500 lumen max. I purchased a POS like this at the same time as getting Thorefire C8S. The difference is night and day. The Thorfire TG06S is a better buy at a much higher price.
Edit: Night is this torch, day is when C8S is on :)
