Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum Wireless 7.1 Gaming Headset $148 @ Harvey Norman (or $140.90 with Officeworks Price Match)

110

Came across this deal on pricehipster, seems like a good deal for this headset. Not as cheap as the previous JB Hi-Fi deal but good for anyone who missed out.

Also you can potentially grab an extra 5% off by price matching at Officeworks which would make these $140.90

  • I thought office works price beat was 5% off the matched price.

    • Good pickup, forgot to change the text from 10% to 5% after I double checked

Personally, i've had mine for ~2 years now. The only issues i've encountered are:
        1. The headset is somewhat squeaky - The plastic squeaks a lot when it bends, but once its on your head this usually isn't an issue.
        2. The power switch is dodgy - This is a known issue and hopefully has been fixed in the G935. The power switch comes loose and makes the earpieces work intermittently. Logitech should be happy to replace the headset if it happens in the first 12 months. After that, you can fix it yourself by removing 4 screws and tightening up everything inside that has come loose.

But saying "These are crap." doesn't help anyone make an educated decision to purchase or not purchase a product or service.

      • Synch issues, sound issues, if you don't run the software or if the software stuffs up it turns into a tin can sound-wise, flimsy build quality. I've had them for three years and only because I'm cheap I won't replace them but I really do hate them.

        • From my experience with bluetooth headsets (I know this isn't) and windows is that when they're in 'headset' mode the sound profile is significantly different (terrible). Perhaps the Logitech software has a way around this. This is a standard issue with windows 10 (not sure about earlier versions).
