Hmmm not sure why the listing reads NEW and Store Demo Unit.
the item description meaning (New, new not used, used) is what's considered the description by ebay so i guess if something goes wrong can also return saying it says 'new'
Seems strange to list a Store Demo Unit at the RRP.
Better off buying iPads from Apple. Save the extra money and get apple care too. You won't be regretting it when your iPad bends and you bought it from some dodgy eBay seller

Oof, I got email for this but it didn’t have “store demo” in title at the time.
Not worth it. It has balance of 1yr warranty, can’t add AppleCare+, has 24/7 screen on time.
Maybe their reseller agreement says they can’t discount and they’re sneaking around that.
How is it possible they have so many demo units though?
There's at least 10 which is odd considering sydney tec is a pure ebay store? (from my understanding anyway)Maybe that bought all the store demo units from apple stores?

Says “condition new” on eBay details, so I guess someone can risk it and lodge a dispute if it’s actually demo

Got a response from them.
“Yes, this is a Store Demo unit meaning that the box has been opened and displayed as a demo, however, it is still in good a condition and comes with a 1year warranty.”
