  Is there any benefit to buying books from here instead of buying from Amazon?
  I find Amazon usually has the lowest prices, plus shipping is free because of my prime membership.

    Booko will tell you which is cheaper. Cash-back can vary between them as well.

    I also think there's benefit to ensuring competition - if Amazon eventually becomes a monopoly provider, it's consumers who will lose. Not to mention supporting a local business.

      But how often is Angus and Robertson actually cheaper than Amazon? Provide me with some examples and I'll be convinced to keep an eye on them.

      All I care about is getting my book cheaper, whilst it also arrives quickly. So far, no other company has been able to provide this since Amazon came into Australia.

        I would probably suggest that you always look at Booko as your first port of call. Given you have Prime, Amazon is probably going to be cheaper in most instances (there's an example below where this deal with A&R is cheaper if you factor in Amazon's shipping). But this is Ozbargain so I would recommend checking Booko each time.

  Just looked up Matthew Reilly's new book and A&R has it for $12.99 but Amazon for $12.50. But I don't have a Prime acc so it will be cheaper for me to get via A&R.

  Sidenote : Has anyone read it and do you recommend?
