      • Thanks for the hack

      • How long does it take for the credit to come through? It's not instant, right?

        • +1

I just registered and I can see Loyalty Credit $10 on the top right. Ten mins later they sent me an invoice for the $5 joining fee. I can now select loyalty credit on the payment screen to apply the $10 discount. Bought some wipers for my subaru wagon so they got more money out of me but I needed them anyway.

    • New eBay or SCA account?

Thanks for the heads up on this one TAZ366. Already have sets of (then Aussie made) Sidchrome everything bought over thirty years ago, but can never have too many spanners right? = )

More available through eBay store and use click and collect. Just can't use the membership credit.

  • Why no 16. So annoying

I love this deal, although would love more if pickup was available.

Use the eBay store and Click&Collect. It seems to work for just one.

  • what sort of normal day use do you guys use this for?
might add this for emergency repairs.

I actually have a few sets and dont need this but will probably end up getting anyway. My worst set is not polished chrome. And while they work ok they do rust just sitting in my garage, I expect these to be a better. Also it may be the case these grip a little better than my worst set, as such I might give those away (for the price of 10 bucks).

If you do want to make an emergency kit, I would recommend getting familiar with your car and putting together only the tools you think you need. It will save weight and space and save you digging around for the right tool in an emergency situation when it could be dark/raining or when its very hot/cold.

If I wasnt going to buy this set it might be because emergency set currently contains ratchet spanners.

    • You can't work on cars without them. However , there's really not many nuts and bolts around the house, so you normally don't need them. That said, having a set can really save you when you need them.

Just picked up 2 from my local SCA, should be noted that they were not shown as discounted on the shelf, but they registered as the sale price at the counter. Even more important was that when I checked stock at this store online it said this was not in stock at this store, so dont believe the site

I already had 6 different sets of spanners, normal combo, stubby, ratcheting, flex head ratcheting, offset etc, but still picked this one up cuz black chrome sounds cool to me. :)

Picked these up on eBay C&C. Thanks OP!

  • They look good, but no 9mm is a no go for me.

  • +1

Thanks OP, just ordered a set of these to go with all the other spanners I don't need, and bought another tool cabinet too, because the other one I have is overflowing :P

Black chrome though…must look cool, right?

Surprised I still found stock in a nearby store for pick-up. Will make a nice set to keep in the car for emergencies.

  • Thanks, perfect time to get a new space set. I would not have found it in the online store without the link.
