Save on fuel this Easter with Caltex.

How exactly will you save since they jacked up the prices for the school holidays.

    • Discount will be valid till 14 of May. Still could get some monies worth.

      • -1

Still could get some monies worth.

        Maybe…

  • +1

    no lpg no deal

    • I agree, but at least it's kind of cheap at the moment, compared to twelve months ago.

  • Will this stack with Woolies Everyday rewards card for an extra 4 cents off?

  • -1

No 4c everyday reward not valid at Caltex only sites listed. 4c is valid only at Woolworths Caltex sites. So you only get 6c off with this offer at participating sites.

    • +3

No 4c everyday reward not valid at Caltex only sites listed.

This isn't for Caltex only sites. Many on the list are Woolies Caltex sites.

  • +1

Can this stack with myToyota App?

    • I guess no harm to try asking them to scan the toyota 4c code, if it works, that will be wonderful !!!

    • This offer is not available in conjunction with any other discount. Sorry.

  • +2

There is this one weird Caltex Star Mart Woolworths servo (only one i've ever seen), it's listed as a participating site so i should be able to stack 4 cent Woolies fuel voucher + 4 cents for spending $5 in the servo and pay by egift card for a further 5% off the total?

    • +1

pay by egift card for a further 5% off

      This guy Ozbargains.

    • woolies servo with star mart won't take egiftcard

      • 5% off Starcash eGC

    • +2

Starmart currently has a deal going at the moment 5% off all “Starcash” cards ends 30/04 so if you forget to buy e-gift cars you can do it then and there in store. POS will automatically give you discount.

      • That's great. My linked MasterCard with Qantas has a bonus 100 points for $50 spend at Caltex. Assume that I can choose a denomination of $53?

Bought to you by the refinery that's also bring you the currently price cytcle highsm just in toime for the holidays

      • Scathing. +1

        • -1

Or more like perceived knowledge is inversely proportional to actual facts

The reason isn't so much the $au or the price of (tapis) crude oil, but mostly the refineries are increasing profit margins.

Have a squiz at this graph.

          https://www.aip.com.au/pricing/international-prices/internat…

In the first graph, The blue is the price of oil, the green is the price of (refinery) ULP. You can see in late Feb, the refineries were selling 95 for less then the price of crude oil. Then you can see in March they're decided to make some money (not that they were losing money, because they had bought the fuel under contract at a lower price).

      • -1

        Please explain

        • +2

"the refinery that's also bring" -> wrong grammar
"cytcle" & "toime" -> bad spellings
          "currently" -> wrong grammar
          "highsm" -> wtf !?

          • -1

@downtime: called fat fingers….note you don't actually construct a valid argument.
spelling & gramma don't matta. communication si all about gettinf the other person to understand you, since you corrected my gramma & spillin, means you understood, objective achieved.

      • Failing? Utterly failed.

  • +1

Step 1. Buy Min 2 L of fuel to fill up jerry can and pay the cashier.
Step 2. Redeem the fuel saver card to fill up your empty thirsty SUV tank with 6c off. Then pay the cashier.
Step 3. Pass your fuel saver card to family and friends

Pay 2L at RRP, up to 120L (or more) at 6c off.

    • +2

Skip the Jerry Can and fill the tank twice .. :-) .. !!

      • You could but cashier could be a prick and say no

    • Only applicable on $30 plus can or tank fill :)

  • If you have Suncorp Benefit account, you may be able to stack this with the Caltex egiftcard for a slightly better saving than stacking Woolworth 4c voucher with Wish giftcard.

    • Caltex egiftcard is also 5% off. Don't quite get how it is slightly better?

      • I can't find a Woolworth Caltex in the list so it's either this offer + Caltrx egiftcard, or Woolworth voucher + Wish egiftcard in a Woolworth Caltex.

        • Oh ok. Got it. Thanks

          • @yht: It's me not being clear in my first post. Personally I probably won't bother to get the 2c extra saving by being trapped in another giftcard.

    • Caltex starmart stations do not accept Woolworths e gift cards or 4c voucher. You can use Starmart Caltex 5%off discounted ones from Suncorp

  • Am i blind? I can't see the QR code the post/site is referring to?

    • More like…

      Am i blind? I can't read

Simply scan the QR code on the back of the Easter Fuel Saver card

      • Pardon?

  • +2

Is there a min spend on the first fill to get the discount card?

  • I'm just trying to make everything clear. So the minimum fill being $30 is on the initial purchase (when you get given the card), on the second purchase (when you can get 6c off) or both?

It says can't be used with other offers, is this referring to the initial purchase, second or both?

And lastly, are the selected servos only for redeemable or you can't get the cards from elsewhere either?

    • Went to servo today. Paid for fuel. Guy was helpful, gave me a handful of the cards. The QR code is generic.

As an OzBer, I immediately took photos and sent to all my buddies so they can have 6c off from now until 14/5

      • PM the code pls, thanks!

        • +2

          Here you go guys!!!!

          Great to be on OzB!

OP - slap the link it in your description. I bet most outlets won't care if it's a copy despite T&C saying otherwise.

          • @dangerdanger: No some do care, sometime reception is bad, so I preloaded the discount code at home and saved it as an image, the bloody servo guy said his boss direction not accepting image, only the real code load up from the app, so its pure luck.

            • +1

@kaikor: Rebrand the barcode to Woolworth Rewards or Myer One.

  • +1

Jeez that list is hard to read…not even in alphabetical order

    • Yeah I just opened the nrma app and looked at what was near then ctrl + f the name

  • Filled up $5 worth of fuel and the lady wouldn't hand over the fuel card because she said I had to spend $30 to get the fuel card. This was at Sunnybank QLD.

  • Merged from Caltex Easter Petrol Promo 6cents Per Litre above $30 Purchase until 14 May 2019
    Go to Deal

I got this discount card given to me yesterday when I top up petrol at a Caltex petrol station. Caltex petrol discounts 6cents per litre above $30 purchase until 14 May 2019

    • +4

Caltex fuel is always a lot more expensive than anywhere else I've found.

      • -1

always the first to go up as well

      • I find BP most expensive in metro QLD. Caltex is generally in the middle.

        • +1

And in Melb too (well nth side)

    • +3

      List of participating servos: https://www.caltex.com.au/easter-fuel-saver

Sadly does not include Woolies cobranded ones.

    • Not yesterday as most station prices shot up to 159.9 but a few Caltex still at 132.9. Try GasBuddy apps

      • …or local FuelWatch apps

      • Use FuelCheck in NSW, it's more accurate than GasBuddy

    • Do you need to buy fuel first before you are given this card ?

    • Guessing you can’t stack with nrma 5c etc

    • +1

ACCC says victims using fuel discounting programs pay more for fuel.

      • Except for project three zero ;-) we pay less

  • Can I use this at a United station? They're always 6 cents cheaper at least.

    • +2

It's a Caltex deal, so what do you reckon?

Perhaps give it a try and let us know.

      • -1

I see you don't do satire.

  • Hi I am thinking of going to a local participating Caltex (which also supports 4c Woolworths card discount).
Once you get the discount fuel card it would be nice if you could use at any Caltex.
If anyone could confirm this works that would be great.

    • Have you checked to see if your Caltex Woolworths site is on the list of eligible locations?

      • Yes it is I checked. So I will fill up with 4c WW discount. And use the 6c next time, I just want to find out if the 6c discount card works at any Caltex.

        • It works at participating caltex. Sites are listed in the link
