  • Nice.

  • Any chance on getting some good deals on the EVGA brand some time in the future… While i respect the deals you have now evga is the only brand that fully supports water cooling.

    • Also this model doesnt have a confirmed block that fits (was alot of confusion but reps were sure it wouldnt fit :( )

      • What model? Their iChill model is OEM water-cooled.

        • the OC X3

and we are referring to custom water cooling so a oem block don't help (usually aluminum on these aswell)

        • That’s a aio water cooler on a custom pcb. While a aio is better than air cooling in most cases ( at least its a 240 mm in this case) a aio cannot compete against a proper custom loop. Unfortunately there are no full cover water blocks that support these cards and their warranty is questionable when it comes to removing the cooler and using your own cooling solution albeit most companies don’t argue to much if you take the coolers off as long as you don’t damage the card when you do it, it’s just they can void the warranty over doing so.

          • @Kiato: I'm aware of that, but these cards aren't really marketed towards people that wish to use custom loops.

    still want a 1080ti tbh

    • How much are used 1080ti's going for now

      • About 700-850. There are some outlying cards going for as low as 600 but it’s rare and generally ex mining cards.

  • Can anyone build us a gaming pc with this thing? (Melbourne)

    • It’s not hard, I’d be happy to give you some guidance, I’ve been building PCs since I was about 15 ( damn that’s 25 years lol, started by upgrading 386s)

But you need a budget and an idea of what you want, whirlpool is a good place to bounce around ideas…

    • I've PM'd you :)

      • Hi Rep:

I am yet to receive the game code for that promotion, no email no response nothing at all, can you help? inno 3d doesn't have local branch

  • Damit i couldn't resist a 2018ti with an AIO so i caved, goodnight my sweet titan X's

    • The RTX Titan is nvidia only, and can't get custom made ones with nice coolers or and factory overclocked, can you?

      • Thats always been nvidias stance on all its Titans as far as i can remember but company's like EVGA have always gone into the gray areas, as my Titan X's where the AIO editions but the price gap between the TI and the Titan has never been this high before even though the performance gap remains the same, but its early yet for The RTX Titan so there may still be an AIO coming for it, they tend to release much later than the standard ones.

        • Oh really? I swear there was a customized Titan at one point in previous generation……hmmmm….

Yeah…feking $5k for RTX Titan…..and you only get a slight performance boost from a reference RTX 2080Ti…….the custom made and factory overclocked RTX 2080Tis might beat a reference RTX Titan? Such as the ROG Matrix or the K|ngP|n when they come out?

  • really want to build a miniITX gaming rig, anyone had any experience getting the AIO version or the blower version into a tiny box?

    • I have a mini ITX rig and I just installed a Corsair H60 v2 and there was heaps of room. Granted its a single 120mm fan but the case has a slot for a duel 120mm setup.

Just make sure you get the right case

  • +3

    iChill Black version $1699
+ $24 for postage (brings it to $1723)
    + 1% to use PayPal ($17.23)

    = $1740.23

someone talk me out of this

    • so I ordered two… >_<

(one is for a mate though)

      • one is for a mate though

        Tell that to the wife/husband!

  • Almost got me. But I can't bring myself to spend this much on the bottom tier manufacturer.

  • I don't get why this card is so much cheaper than other 2080Ti's, what am I missing?

    • Generally when something is cheaper then the competition, it has lower quality components/parts.

      • FYI for anyone reading this in future, the iChill black AIO version uses the very highly regarded Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 radiator which is 38mm thick, has thicker braided tubing than my H150i, full cover block, and Arctic P12 PWM fans that are way quieter than my Corsair ML120s so I ended up replacing fans on my H150i pro with these too. Mine also has Samsung memory that overclocks +1270. I'm running push/pull and can barely hear the thing at load.

Overall it was a very noticeable step up from the air cooled EVGA 2080 Ti I had previously (with micron memory and tiny very loud fans) from a noise, temperature and even a performance perspective which I wasn't expecting.
