    Wasnt the recent dell notebook deal better than this? Yes I know Dell maybe not be as great quality as ASUS but the Dell's were $11xx or about $1350 with the HDscreen and 4GB RAM. Can't imagine needing 8GB on notebook anyway.

    EDIT: $100 difference with twice the RAM I suppose that puts this on par with the aforementioned dell anyway. Ignore the above.

        And double the video mem, with a bigger hdd (750GB)=) though you get only 1 year of warranty by default.

        @raptormesh,

        never compare the video memory unless it is the same card (and one may not have enough)

        To simplify just never compare the memory, rather compare the models

        Fair enough, but both the GPUs are of the same model. Noticed that as I did some research before I purchased the Dell units.

      yep. current dell xps 15 is better and cheaper. also the gpu is 2gb for the xps. and if you include the fhd screen, its still cheaper :)

      this is a good deal BUT there is just something better right now XD
