=============================
Description:

Heart-pounding Co-op
World War Z is a thrilling four-player cooperative third-person shooter featuring massive swarms of zombies that recklessly rush their living prey. Focused on fast-paced gameplay — and based on the incredibly popular Paramount Pictures property of the same name — World War Z explores new storylines and characters from around the world in tense, overwhelming, gruesomely exciting missions crafted specifically for modern consoles and PC.

The swarm feels neither fear nor mercy. It rolls forward to spread and consume. Together, make your stand and unload an arsenal of deadly weaponry into these hundreds of swarming zombies. Feel the satisfying rush of life as you cheat death and prevail against such overwhelming odds. Cut the undead down with rocket launchers, machine guns, sentries, turrets, grenade launchers, barbed wire, and more.

Stories From a World at War
Humanity is on the brink of extinction. From New York, to Moscow, to Jerusalem, the undead apocalypse continues to spread. Countless millions of ravenous zombies without feeling or fear overwhelm and infect the embattled survivors of World War Z.
As the end looms, a hardened few band together and endure. Alone, we are easily overcome. Together, we may yet bring down the horde and press on. For our story – the story of humanity – can only live on if we do.

Moscow
Father Popov and his team must survive the zombie horde to find a secret Kremlin bunker.

New York
A group of survivors atop a Manhattan office building must survive the zombie infested buildings, streets and subways of New York to escape the city while the military attempts to take it back.

Jerusalem
A military squad must rescue a top scientist from the fallen city to activate a weapons system on an abandoned satellite base.

  • Not sure about this one. Think will wait for reviews. What you guys thinking?

I do make exceptions but they are rare. I follow a few simple rules. Rule number one of pre-ordering games is…you do not consider pre-ordering games! The second rule is..if in doubt, go back to rule number one!

      • At this price though? Can sell it after you finished and barely take a loss

        • In my opinion…there's no sure way to predict how well received the game will be at this point and as a result, what it will be it worth a few weeks after release. If you planning on finishing within say a week of release, then it may be worth it.

          • @cheepo: Yea true, although unless I can get it for $25 within a month of release, then I would pre order it at this price. I usually have no issues with pre-ordering. I just order on my price assured credit card, if the price drops I claim it. I often just want to play games as soon as I can.

You do realise this game has an RRP of $59.95?

          • @aja12: You do realise $49.99 is $10 under RRP?

            • @onlinepred:

You do realise $49.99 is $10 under RRP?

So you think you can buy a game for $10 less than it’s full retail price, and sell it second hand with “barely a loss”? Cool man, good for you. Considering these days that most retailers sell new release $99.95 RRP games for around $69 at launch, your theory is very optimistic. Good luck.

              • @aja12: So I pay $49.99. If I don't like it, sell it within a week. I could list it for $40, and in my experience I often sell within a day.

    • Not keen either, looks like RE Operation Racoon City but with faster zombies and less RE genre.

Will I think it's more left for dead. Based on coop.

        • I got excited about this till I googled it and found there's no local player co-op (split screen). That's my favourite part about L4D, playing on the couch with friends together. Super fun game like that.

World War Z is a hard pass until they add that :(

Yeah looks bad like the rest of these games coming out in 2019

Pokemon, fire emblem and Crash Team Racing are coming out this year…

Days gone? Last of us 2…

    • Sekiro Shadows die twice
      Devil May Cry 5
      Resident Evil 2
      Kingdom Hearts 3
      Metro Exodus
      Mortal Kombat 11
      Judgement Eyes
      Rage 2
      Borderlands 3
      Ace combat 7

      Clearly no games worth playing

    • I recon this will be $15 inside a year.

After Anthem's release, I am done with pre-orders. I really want this game and it looks good, but there is just no incentive for companies to release polished games if we just cough up for them months early.

  • looks fun but I'm still slashing (my life) away at Sekiro!

  • too busy with Metro Exodus. Such an awesome game

And reviews and rpeviews for this game look mediocr
