  • So is this cable to charge it or just to connect without Bluetooth? I heard this controllers need batteries

    • If it’s the standard one, takes 2AA batteries. Or you can use a micro USB cable to power it.

    • It's used for connecting to PC without bluetooth.
You'll need 2x AA or purchase a battery pack to use it wirelessly.

  • Damn. This would have been perfect if I got the “pay $45 for eBay plus and get a $45 coupon” deal a few days ago.

  • So if I already have an Xbox controller for windows with the dongle, will this also connect to same dongle? Or will I need it wired..

    • +1

I believe all kinds of wireless Xbox controllers will work with the dongle.

      • Yes, you can also use Blue tooth as well

$45.54 with PLUCK3 code. Just doesn't have the cable.

      That's a fake

      • Fake has such negative connotations. :)

But I do see now it says unbranded. If I had of noticed that earlier I probably would have opted for the genuine one. Anyway - I'll see how it goes.

        • I would return it. These copies are often reverse engineered rather than designed properly.
Quality is poor, I've owned fake controllers and the analog stick wears out super fast. They also chewed through batteries for whatever reason.
A real controller shouldn't have any issues and have been designed to be thrashed (to a degree) by gamers.
I strongly advise paying $10 extra for an official controller. Otherwise you'll end up needing a new controller much sooner than later.

          • @FireRunner: Yep… It was a very crappy copy. :( Sorry for misleading everyone.
