Can you extend warranty at costco?
TV bought at Costco got lifetime warranty.
No this isn’t the case, I purchased a tv in October and was told only 12 months, and we are going through the process now to return it as it’s having issues and Costco is trying to tell us that we need to go through Samsung not return it to them.
I got told this at Coscto when it opened all the time. But it was verbal, nothing in writing, the staff were all wrong that said that.
Under the ACL, Costco are obligated to get it repaired for you.
The Australia Consumer Law (ACL) also negates the need for extended warranties.

Send Costco a link to the Choice Magazine article above and tell them they risk being fined by the ACCC as the article explains.
For mates who doesn't have Costco membership, it's $710.40 on ebay now with 20% off code, free shipping
Could be wrong but I think there was a recent deal (not Costco) on the 55" model for ~$750.
$50 for a solid 6 inches is a good deal xD
For those with the same or a similar model, is the TV any good? Would be using for Netflix (hopefully built in, with good TV remote functionality) and console gaming.
Is this a Smart TV? I'm guessing not @ this price?
Yes it is
That's a crazy good price. I thought i had a deal when i bought mine (exact same model) for $950 6 months ago.
It's a good TV, just remember it doesn't have bluetooth for audio output but for this price it's a bargain
