The 480gb for $80 seems like the best bet!

Looks to be an all time low for the 120GB

Beware of long shipping times and poor parcel packaging. Mine arrived 2 weeks after ordering and thrown in a standard letter envelope. Seller also generally provides fake sent on date.

Good price & product IMO though!

We had a bad experience with these guys too.
3 weeks and order still hadn't shipped.
Sent fake tracking number(s). Blamed Aust Post.
      Will avoid seller

    • The only time it took over a week for me was with Samsung Evo Plus MicroSD's. I was expecting it considering the huge number sold, and that they would have needed to get stock in. Apus usually do have stock, whereas a lot of ebay seller's advertise a majority of products they don't have on hand. Check out the stories of wait time for PC systems here at Ozbargain - 3+ weeks is getting a bit much.

    • Yes they certainly provide a fake tracking number within days via eBay, but once they actually get around to posting it a real tracking number is issued.

There is virtually no additional packaging but I'm not too disturbed by that.

  • I think my first ssd wasn't far off 28gb for 120.

Wow, storage is reaching new levels of crazy ALL the time.

A quick comparison in read/write speed between Kingston A400 and Samsung EVO 860
    https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-860-Evo-250GB-…

Might not be good enough as a main OS drive (eg. c:)
but for additional storage or BitTorrent drive, still great value!

    • OK, for that old laptop that has no real dollar value anymore.

    • But in real world you don't always see those speeds. I have a msata eco that sees 500/500 speed and sata evo that sees 500/100.when it should be 500/500 on paper

  • Looks like SSDs have really been coming down in price over the last year. Sadly CPU and GPU are going up in price!

  • I'm currently running steam games off an external usb 3 7200rpm drive, any point in replacing it with an SSD?

      yes!

      • Cheers, just got a 240GB ta!

… Not only is it a spinning HDD, but USB3???

If torture involved forcing me to use THAT setup, I'd confess to anything.

  • Crucial bx500 120gb is $4 more. Bought off a recommendation off here and seems fast eBay link

    • The A400 seems to have better performance

    • This is 120gb vs 120gb Link your link is the 240gb Kingston which seems like a better performer than the 120gb.

      • Oops, you're right.
I might get one then … thanks.

  • Careful prices are not those 120GB $28.76, 240GB $42.36, 480GB $79.96.

It is not 20% off it is 10%

They make you commit to buying without knowing the final price
I bought 120GB and was charged $32 with a discount

    I already canceled the purchase.

    • Prices in title ARE correct.

      • +1

I agree and prices are as per what is noted. 120GB = $28.76 once PROGRAM20 is applied.
@Rod: Did you apply the code & do you have ebay plus account for free shipping?

  • Has anyone received the drives yet? Mine is marked as shipped since a week now even if it hasn't been shipped out yet.

  • I got this a little earlier than this deal but have had random freezes in-game and on the desktop with this drive as C:. For those that might experience a similar issue (I've ruled out the other components already so make sure you do your own troubleshooting before following this).

I basically had what this guy had: SSD 10sec Freeze Fix 2018/2019

I've been running this fix for the last 48 hours with no further freezes.
