Things you should know:
1. To receive the cashback, you must make the eligible purchase on an eligible Westpac credit card and comply with the offer criteria.

  1. You will receive the cashback amount as a statement credit on your credit card account. This statement credit will normally be paid onto your credit card account within 7 days after the date on which the eligible purchase is processed, but please allow additional days during public holidays or if your card is being replaced.

  2. The statement credit will not contribute to any minimum monthly payment applicable to your credit card account.

  3. Eligible Westpac credit cards include most Westpac branded consumer credit cards and the Altitude Business credit card. American Express® Westpac Altitude Platinum Card, American Express® Westpac Altitude Black Card, Westpac BusinessChoice credit cards, Westpac Commercial credit cards and Westpac Consumer or Business Debit Cards are not eligible. Purchases made using an online payment platform such as PayPal are not eligible (even where an Eligible Credit Card is linked to that online payment platform).

  4. Offers are non-transferrable and can only be redeemed by either the cardholder who has been sent this offer directly by Westpac (the Primary Cardholder) or by an additional cardholder using a card linked to the Primary Cardholder's credit card account.     I think it is targeted. Have two separate card accounts with them (one of which I use heavily) and got nothing. Checked the Rewards & Offers tab on the internet banking site and none of these offers showed up there either

          Then you don't need to activate it. Just go to Myer and buy a Coles Myer card. Simple

      Yasui - Last time this offer was running I purchased a Coles Group & Myer gift card over the counter at Myer. The cc statement read Myer and the dates were within the offer period. No credit. After a few weeks rang Westpac CS they said they would investigate. After 5 weeks called again, same answer. After another 2 weeks rang Personal Banker who contacted CS. After further 2 weeks CS called asked if the purchase was made by debit (no) and promised to get back to me. Personal banker emailed and stated he did not believe CS would get back to him and offered $50 credit which has happened. Now another 4 weeks later CS still has not got back to me. Besides the money I really wanted to find out the problem so that I could use these offers in the future. In this case the only thing I can think of is that it's a GC purchase although the conditions do not exclude them.
      Have these Westpac worked for anyone?

        Yes but it was quite some years ago when I last used the Myer offer on my Westpac card. Have also used it before at Coles and The Body Shop (for buying gift cards)

            @yasui: Strange, my offer was Myer Get $15 cashback when you spend $100 or more. But as I said last time I did not get the money credited. Not sure I should try again.
