Too bad we won't have affordable 5G internet for another 5 years as Gov banned the biggest supplier in the world.
@arctan: lol… im with the Gov on that one, all be it there needs to be controls in place instead of all out bans but i can understand where they are coming from… it basically destroyed all TPG had invested in … oh well
4 X 4k videos at the same time, obviously ;)
hahaha thats more like 16k or am i wrong there? LOL
So Hardly Normal is giving out $1400 gift card instead of S10+.
Time to sell a kidney!
Lol
What, no 98 inch ? Pff !
$10,000 for a tv with no content. Maybe I will check back in 10 years.
You must still have a CRT
Wheres the 98 inch? Im sure it'll be affordable
Ozland the lucky country misses out again…?
The first HDMI input on the Q900 box can accept an 8K/30p signal, but it currently can’t accept 8K at 50/60p because of the limitations inherent in HDMI 2.0. To handle the massive data requirements of 8K at those higher frame rates, you need HDM 2.1, and that isn’t available yet. Samsung plan to replace the existing box with one that includes HDMI 2.1, but what the company hasn’t decided yet is whether that upgrade will be free or not.
Big if thats the case. You would think after paying so much money they could just include it even if at a later stage where requested.
Is Samsung synonym for Apple now?
Samsung have very poor track record for offering any product upgrade - both hardware or software - after the device is out of the warehouse.
Totally Agree. They simply make the product and try to sell them and move on. You will be considered lucky to get move than 2 updates on their TV/Audio products.
Still waiting on 77" OLED prices to come down
They have, they were much more when released. I know what you mean though, to an affordable price.
Anyone wants to buy a kidney?
I'd love to but I've just bought a TV.
Please dont be stupid enough to pay full price for something that can barley do 4k yet alone 8k…
Obligatory "I'll take 10." comment out of the way…
I'd take 4K OLED over 8k QLED any day.
No backlight bleed on OLED!
No thanks, I will wait till it drops to $9990
I want my steak knives free with it toooo!! Can’t have tv-dinners without a steak knife in front of my $10k TV!!
what the heck would you play on an 8k tv? i guess it takes 4k and upscales it? lol
