  • 10/10 would recommend for PS4 Pro/XbOne X 4k monitor on a budget considering the 1ms response rate. 32 inch would be better tho imo.

    • Do the monitors support HDMI 2.0? Otherwise they won't go over 30fps for 4K…

      • pretty sure the 2nd port does. but do your research. mine hits 60.

  • Refresh rate on the Samsung is 60hz. Also has AMD Freesync.

Silly question but can the monitor be used as a TV?

It does have speakers but probably not as good as tv speakers and no tv antenna, just hdmi

      • i'm just after a small cheap one to fit the kitchen.

        • these might be too big if you after a small tv size

          • @asa79: I'll mount it to the wall so it should be ok.

            • @nightelves: It's doable, but you can pickup little 22" TVs with the digital tuner and speakers built in for $150 why would you go through the effort of it

    • If your talking about cable tv then no, otherwise, hook up a htpc or chrome cast or nuc/media box and ur good to go

    • I'm looking to do the same thing. Size is good but TVs at this price point (or smaller TVs) seem to be either cheap rubbish or overpriced by the major brands (like Samsung).
Can't stream all the current Free to Air channels off their apps/internet (especially when a sporting event is on - they put on alternate programs on streaming apps). Is there a workaround?
Any cheap digital set top box around with Full HD resolution that can fit the tuner role with output for monitor/sound? Thanks

      • A Vodafone TV box costs $72, has a tv tuner as well as Android TV for 4K streaming/Chromecasting.
If the monitor's speakers aren't good enough for you (spoiler: they're trash), you can plug into its 35mm port or get a Bluetooth speaker and connect it to the VTV.

  • Don’t forget to price match to Officeworks for the price beat guarantee oh and also to not give the sale to Gerry.

  • TN panel is a hard no for me.

    • Does look good for price

  • Isn't this a better deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/444159

That one is QLED, and this is non QLED, so a budget version

      • Im aware of the difference, but for $80 extra why would you get the budget version and suffer with a TN panel?

        • They both tn panels

But still looks nice for the price and quality

          • @asa79: Definitely get the other one if you plan on mounting it, the VESA mount on the cheaper one is poorly positioned at the top.
