i usually get mine from quicklens, check to see if they are cheaper there
Thanks
I used monthly contacts for years I find spec savers ok on these specials and there shipping is reliable.
just been looking at buying prescription glasses online
clearly.com.au has 40% off your first pair of glasses Plus free shipping, also 15% contacts
there is also Zenni.com which has some very inexpensive glasses (but shipped from the US)
there is also this great thread from a few years ago with some great links for online glasses shopping
obviously if you have private health insurance that covers optical then just go to specsavers.
Thanks OP
Has anyone with dark brown eyes tried their color contacts?
They don't sell coloured contacts?
Oh, thanks.
yeah i've used the sterling grey ones before and they showed up pretty good (maybe a bit blueish). theyre a tad pricey tho
dammit i just ordered from here today.
Title should say (CONTACT LENSE ONLY)
It would be nice to update in title that it is applicable for contact lenses only. CHeers
Whats the chance specsavers do another 50 dollars off in the next few months?
Havent seen 50dollars off in a long time.
Yeah your right looking back at old threads here it seems the best deal was a cyber monday 60 dollars off 119. Wish they brought that back for a day.
Thanks, needed to order some more so perfect timing
I was running low on contacts, so good timing thanks.
Does anyone know how do I claim these contacts at my health fund? The itemised invoice says they are $200 ($50 per item), but I only paid $170 ($42.5 per item).
Bummer, my contacts order comes to $106 so doesn't qualify!
try below
I had a look at your link and it comes to $94 for my lenses but I can get 10% off (by activating EasyPay) with Specsavers to bring it down to $95. Then I can claim on my Private Health Insurance. I don't know how easy it is to claim back with a receipt from eueyewear but it's probably not worth the hassle for a dollar. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
I've been purchasing my contact lens from Europe or USA over the past 5 or so years. Its way cheaper.
I always buy year in advance. So 24 lens (12 each per eye per month).

These are $35 for 3. Which means I need to buy 8 packs totaling $280 - $30 OFF = $250 Delivered for a year.
I buy the same lens from this site. https://www.eueyewear.com/eueyewear_en/biofinity-6.html
These are 20.71 Euros (price lowers when added to cart) for 6. Which means I need to buy 4 packs totaling 82.90 Euros + 5.65 shipping to Melbourne = 88.49 Euro or ~AUD$142.
More than $100 saving nearly half the price, and I get them within a week or so.
TL:DR - $35RRP for 3 lens at Specsavers vs $34RRP for 6 lens from Eueyewear
True. But most health funds will only pay on invoice from retailers with a ABN (pay GST).
Thanks. Im going to use the overseas online store from now on :)
Expired I think? Can someone confirm?
Does anyone use monthly contacts? Any ideas if Specsavers are usually the cheapest?
