    Yes, I use this exact shoe to run marathons ;) The fake suede is great at absorbing my sweat so the shoes get heavier as the race goes on, enabling me to swing my feet like pendulums.

    Upvoted because that's something I would've asked a few years ago too, but no - suede makes for terrible running shoe material because it's really really heavy (comparatively) haha.

  I bought a pair at Marsden park a couple of weeks ago, great casual shoe, very comfortable too.
