Auto Call Recorder Pro has ads but doesn't disclose the fact that it has ads. It tricked people to rate it 5 stars to boost its scores on Google Play but sneakily showed ads on people phones. Many people who reviewed it on Google Play said it has ads. That's why it only has 3.8 stars. I had one from previous deals and can confirm that it has ads. It's really a dodgy and dishonest app. I suspect it probably spied on people phones too.

    • Apparently the next version of Android will kill call recording, at least the app claims that. I don't get ads but I have the license and the option in settings to not show promotions.

      -Edit-
Sorry I have a different app, they have the exact same icon. Mine is ACR.

That's not the next version of Android, it's the current one. Current Android is Pie, next is Q (name TBA) which releases in a few months.

        • Anything pie onwards doesn't work. I would like to know a workaround

I need it for phone interviews please help

          • @neonlight: Quick suggestion is two phones, horribly painful, but if you require it for work, it might be the only way for now.

  • My understanding is that call recording apps cannot work on Android 9 due to API restrictions. A workaround is to increase the mic gain and hope that it picks up the audio from your earpiece.

Ah great it's another meditation app so people can pretend to meditate.

If you have a smartphone (and dumb phones as well) you already have the app you need to meditate! It's the timer.

    One method of meditation is:

Sit (or lie down if you have pain) somewhere, set the timer for 1 to 5 minutes or more if you are game, close your eyes. Breathe through your nose and observe, rather than concentrate on, the feeling between your eyes that the breathe makes. It's very subtle. If you can't feel it just place your attention on the feeling the air makes in your nose.

Every time you find your attention wandering from that subtle feeling the exercise is to just let the thought go as soon as you notice it and go back to being attentive to that physical feeling.

For most people their attention wanders in seconds. It's important to understand that aim of the exercise is bringing back your attention ever time it wanders and every time you do this you can think of it as a repetition like in the gym except that you're exercising your brain.

I say this because many people are discouraged by how difficult it is and think they're failing when they catch themselves wandering whereas the reality is that catching yourself is the aim of the exercise.

It's more difficult than it sounds but I don't think anybody can say they don't have 90 seconds to prep and do 1 minutes meditation per day.

Good stuff, especially the Calculator. Read somewhere that on average 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions.
