I don't believe the RRP at all, but my car does desparately need a service. What's the general consensus - Is purchasing this actually going to save me any money compared to if I just go my local service station outright?
No!!! Ask around about a good local mechanic if you don't already have one, but Goodyear are shonks!
As StewBalls said. And once you find a good one, stick to them.. Few and far between unfortunately.
Also, if you send your car in for a service, and they don't find ANYTHING wrong with it, it's a good thing! =P
These types of deals just suck people into coming into their shops, once there they will find miniscule faults with the car and ask you to pay ridiculous amounts for them.
I assume the "Parts, oil & fluids are extra", will cost you another $100, oil & filter that is :)

the unknown factor here is the prices of parts, this "$604" appears to cover only labour and since they can 'pad' the part prices all they want, it's next to useless!
what i'd like to see is several service levels with everything included, i.e, small car/large car/4wd/performance service packages, so there are no surprises!

if you are in north brisbane then check out Toys in Redcliffe. very good service, honest, value for money.
Misleading advertising - deal worth no where close to $600RRP. You take your car to these people & your getting bent over for god knows how much once they start fixing shit that aint broken. Avoid them like the plague.

I don't trust Goodyear anymore, have bitter experience with one of the Brisbane location.
These offers are fishing expeditions. The shop is looking to find justification for unnecessary work.
