Was on the lookout for a Hisense, this seems to be the cheapest this model has ever been by far. Previous cheapest was $788.

Is this a good replacement for a 5 year old 46inch 200mhz Samsung LED?
It doesn't work with Logitech Harmony remote controls. In fact no Hisense TVs do. If you're planning to use a universal remote to control your home entertainment system - don't buy a Hisense product.
For those who want to know why: Hisense TVs have dynamic HDMI switching and they don't provide Logitech with discrete codes so the remote doesn't know which input to use when selecting an activity. ie. 'Watch TV', 'Watch Foxtel', 'Watch Blu-ray' etc.
Apart from that - it's a good television. Built in apps are limited though (just Stan, Netflix, YouTube, SBS On Demand). Their app store is full of junk apps that nobody is interested in.
Short answer. Yes.
Better answer, you could get a 55p7 for a pretty darn good price. I'd personally pay an extra $100~ for the 7 series.
You might be confusing this with the 55P7? The P6 has been $638 before. Still a good price here though
