  Wow these seem expensive. For this sort of money you would be better off buying a cheap holder and grab some Lee or other brand name filters. The CPL is going to be of less use and are generally bought as a direct lens filter.

  Yes, I've found that everything seems expensive, until you see something that costs more! And it's also true that filters start from around $2, and go to higher than some people would like to believe. It really depends on the quality of results you're interested in. Sirui isn't at the nasty end, but that's because Sirui has a good reputation for quality, yet this is cheaper than comparable offers for the same item. As you have likely found out if you're a photographer, gear can be like that. A $5,000 lens seemed expensive to me until I saw a $20,000 Leica. Changed perspective :)

  We believe that OzBargainers deserve the best deals, so we try hard to make that happen. In this case, the Selling Out Soon deal (for this Sirui Professional Landscape Filter Kit (Starter Kit) + Australian Warranty) is the best price out there that we could find from an authorised Dealer in Australia. When we checked today, it was $100 to $250 lower than anywhere else in Australia (probably lower than the USA too).

  This is a landscape kit, so if you're doing landscape photography, you could either go for this, or some of the NISI range we carry, which is at a fair price all year 'round, but most of the kits cost a fair bit more than this, so this one isn't expensive in the scheme of things. It will depend on what you're doing too. See the site for more details on Sirui, if you wanted discounted photographic accessories at the mid to high end, and before you make a decision, check out the many forums online, there are plenty of good ones to get advice and reviews etc.
