I had my first thickshake when they last had the $1 deal. It felt like they gave me 600ml of soft serve icecream with some topping (basically a giant sundae). Is there meant to be milk added to the thickshake? Nonetheless I did enjoy it.
This is Mcdonalds bro, it's not supposed to have anything real in it. Still very good crap, can't go wrong and always gives me pleasure.
Their shakes are my favourite, but I stopped bothering as every time I tried to order the machine wasn't working.

Warners Bay today I got 2 x $1 thickshakes yet I heard someone else get told they wouldn't accept theirs and proceeded to charge them $4.95. Ouch. Double lane drive thru so I couldn't help the guy out.

Yeah the maccas along bourke st mobile system always seems to be 'not working' when these sorts of deals are on. Pretty convenient I think.
Is there any way to report stores that don't play ball with these deals?
According to the app, my local has been out of stock of chocolate syrup, caramel syrup and slices tomato for over 2 weeks. That means they haven't been able to provide recent deals of iced caramel latte, thickshakes and the regular cheapies of the $1 sundae and $5 chicken McOz deal.
You can complain to McDonalds if you would like to feel better.
