Philips Hue Bridge $59.90 @ Bunnings Warehouse

110

Both are stocked at Officework so can get PM

Philips Hue Bridge - $59.9 > $89 @ OW

Philips Hue 2m Smart LED Lightstrip Plus - $86.9 > $124 @ OW

I couldn’t find any RGB downlights from Philips Hue so instead purchased 2 Nue ZigBee Downlights from eBay using PACKAGE to get 15% off.
First time posting so if anything incorrect the correct me.

  • How much are they going for normally?

also $59.90 on amazon free delivery with prime

    • Not available at my local Bunnings.
I'd order via Amazon for free delivery and cashback, delivered to my door.

  • They seem to be matching the current Amazon sale on Hue products so they aren't subject to providing the additional 10% price beat

  • We use more than 10 Xiaomi bulbs/light strips here that don’t require the bridge and they have worked flawlessly… is the bridge necessary or a way to lock people into their ecosystem

    • Its not required but if you have too many devices connected to a router it would degrade the router’s performance I suppose. Whereas you can connect up to 50 devices to a bridge. I did some research and you can connect any Zigbee 3.0 compatible devices with the Hue bridge.

    • I use the Hue Bridge as a generic ZigBee bridge that manages my non-Hue ZigBee LED strips and other ZigBee sensors around the house.

      • Can you use Xiaomi Zigbee devices with it?

        • Came here to ask this :D

      • No Xiaomi ZigBee devices are managed by the Xiaomi gateway and do not appear within the Hue bridge as they are not compatible ZLL (ZigBee Light Link?) devices. Sorry for the delay in responding.
