Roses in my local fruit shop/green grocers are usually only around $1 per rose, although I suspect that they're more expensive today and tomorrow. Worth a look, though.

I'm so glad my wife isn't like this. I bought her roses a few times, but never spent $50. Tomorrow I'm taking her to the movies (Sinemia tickets) and to a Fish 'n Chips place (she likes the burgers there).
