  • Phone does not exist on GSM arena. Got any more specs? RAM? CPU? I presume IPS display.

Or pricematch and get it for $227 :)

      • Or pricematch with Woolworths and get it for $196.65 :)

        • You're right! Woolies does have it for $207, so that would be the better option in this scenario. Never mind! :)

      • This seems to be a "locked" Vodafone stock, where retailer provides a unlock code.

Worth a shot at OW, but I doubt it.

  • these were going for $200 locally 3-4 months ago, and currently $229 at Kmart in store

  • Got one from Woolies long time ago, single sim with Optus package. Free unlocked and switch 850 3G on, now perfect with Telstra SIM. The price was under $200, I think I paid $190 at that time. Yes, It has B28.

    • How did you get your free unlock? What did you say/ask for to get free unlock as I have never been successful with Optu/Voda/Telstra?

I talked with Optus online chat. I asked where to input unlock code on Optus oppo A73, because there was no pop up message on the screen when I inserted a non Optus SIM. It was a locked phone at the moment, I can see there was no reception with non Optus SIM. But when Optus guy checked on their system, he told me this phone was unlocked on their end. Then I totally confused, I said that I want to travel to overseas with this phone. And then he gave me a code and told me how to operate with the unlock code on the phone. This is my story. I had a Optus prepaid number at that time, but it was almost expired with a long non recharged period. They needed my Optus account details when I talked with online team.

        • Thanks for your detailed explanation. You got lucky,…not everyone does even if they have Optus account(s).

          • @ozhunter68: Search on Whirlpool, someone posted a method for unlocking. It is free and easy, but not suitable for all of the A73. Try that, you may have a good luck.

      Clicked the link above.

At the bottom, there was a section "People Who Bought This Item Also Bought"…

      Iceberg Lettuce

Wondering what kind of "auto suggest" tool/software Woolies are using … Or are people really buying phone and lettuce together ? Interesting.
