LUCKY

Been looking for a similar style from Tefal which is usually around $169 +delivery
https://www.catch.com.au/product/tefal-ingenio-performance-8…

This flash deal seems decent considering the 5 piece is $169
https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/ovela-moderno-5-piece-stackable…

Was $59 but down to $54 with code LUCKY (thanks to Xetrok)

Not nagging but hate inflated RRP’s like Harris Scarfe.style. These RRPs mean most days of the week you can make you own choice of sets at Aldi and cheaper with better peace of mind in returns. Just saying.

    • Wouldn't disagree at all :)

However, for those who cannot wait for the next Aldi sale that sold a similar style for a similar price, this could be considered a deal for them.

        Fair point!

Using code "Lucky" drops the price to $54 :)

    • Thanks, updated :)

  • Tefal is often on sale.

    • The brand yes, however the "Ingenio" range (aka nested) I can't find much on Ozbargain, especially sub $100.

During Amazon sales, the ingenio sets go down to 80ish dollars.

Tefal is a brand you can trust with non-stick, especially with all the debacle around PFOA's etc.

^^ I got this set for $80 during Amazon's Prime Day launch, and recently over Christmas we got a set for my MIL for $99.00. Also includes storage lids for the sauce pans, so you can go into fridge.

PS the videos and pictures for the kogan one are taken with very small hands, the larges saucepan is only 20cm, the largest frying pan is only 26cm.

        • $80 is a great price! Jealous.

Still, this is about comparing what can be available to what is available. OzBargainers can make the decision whether or not this is a good deal for their needs.

I think we can all agree that Tefal would likely be a better quality, hence a higher premium.

          • @Canberran: Agree, and as I mentioned, note the sizes as well. The Tefal I listed is basically wider at 24, 26 cm's for the sauce pans, and the pan is 28 I believe.

So if in no rush, can probably wait for amazon. Read the reviews, it's not perfect, but should suit most people's needs.

            • @schwinn: Actually, the 10 Piece or even 13 Piece has the largest size of 26cm also, so no difference in size, just quality and price :)

              • @Canberran: 13 piece saucepans are smaller:
22cm stainless steel (exterior) non stick frying pan
26cm stainless steel (exterior) non stick frying pan
                16cm stainless steel saucepan
                18cm stainless steel saucepan
                20cm stainless steel saucepan

                10 piece
                22cm non stick frying pan
                26cm non stick frying pan
                16cm non stick saucepan
                20cm non stick saucepan
                24cm non stick sautepan <—bigger

                Personally I like large saucepan.

But the set I was talking about is the 8 piece:
                26cm non stick frying pan,
                20cm non stick saucepan,
26cm non stick sautepan <— Even bigger.

                • @schwinn: Sorry I was just referring specifically to your last comment:

                  […] the pan is 28 I believe.

                  • @Canberran: Ah, the correctness nazi.

My statement still holds water, the sauce pans of 24 and 26 cm are nowhere to be found on your, so your statement of 'no difference in size' is incorrect.
