Every year in south Australia the government gives away sports vouchers to keep kids active. This year it has increased from $50 to $100. This can pay for any sport registered to the program. I have found most sports are. My son did Aus kick and this was fully paid for with the $100 voucher. Plus he also received a bag including footy T-shirt and backpack. My daughter has attended ANZ hot shots tennis. The $100 covered almost all the fees and she received a yonnex racquet and T-shirt included in the price. It’s worth checking your local sports clubs and getting your kids involved in a sport.

Just NSW, should definitely be national. I'd be interested to see how many NSW sporting clubs 'upped' their registration fees a little more than normal this year after the vouchers came in last year.

Reception = Preps
Great initiative.
Do they have something similar in QLD?
In NSW they do the same thing. I thought the "Active Kids" (which includes high school kids) was a nationwide initiative though? All states should get on board with this.
