Recent patch introduced region based matchmaking.
All the Oceania players are back on local servers.
It's been pretty good this week not having to deal with high pings on NA servers.
During quiet times you'll still be put on NA servers though, due to insufficient players.
That's only for PC that they fully removed servers. As SpottyMoose said, Xbox has been much better this week - they finally got their shit together.
I have been playing War Mode recently and quite entertaining. A lot less pressure since you just re-spawn quickly.
I'm keen to see what other people are experiencing.

It'll still update if you've installed it, but don't have the credentials to play. If you've got game pass though you'll be able to play it. $10 is an incredible price for this game though.
Is it worth the $10 or just go for black ops 4?
PUBG has the capacity to scare the shit out of you and the matches can be 40 minutes depending on map. It's a pseudo realistic - real weapons with ballistics for everything. It's a great game.
It's much more similar to CS:GO whereas BLOPS is much more similar to Fortnite.

PUBG can make your heart race.
BLOPS4, while well made, never really grabbed me. In terms of gameplay, it's definitely closer to Fortnite.
I still play both but most of my time is on PUBG.

100% worth $10. Also available on game pass though! Agree with the others in regards to Black Ops. I'm interested in Battlefield V's mode once it comes out - but to be honest I don't think I'll stop playing PUBG
Just for anyone who has a Target near them, it's still 10 bucks at Target, and my local (Ringwood, VIC) still had a few copies yesterday.
That being said, it's pretty well the same price and it's not like you're getting a physical disc at Target or anything, just putting it out there.
