  • I got it on the last deal and it was never tracked.

    • +7

If you have it in your click history just submit a ticket, they've always been helpful when a sale hasn't tracked for me.

      • Thanks, could still be processing

      • what's "click history" and how to get to it?

        • My Account / My Click History… It's a record of every click you make from Cashrewards to the merchants we have on site. These are generated by clicking 'Shop Now' via browsers or Mobile App, or by exiting to a merchant via our Cashback Notifier.

  • How long does tracking generally take?

    • +2

Should be instant / within 24 hours.
Normally it's within 10minutes but varies.

      • +1

not for Catch Connect, but I've had some take up to a week

    Hi OP,

    Are you associated with Cashrewards?

    • +2

      Why was I negged?

I want to know if OP is certain about the T&C's regarding this being a new purchase. If it's not from a rep you can't trust it.

      • +1

The T&C's is just basically copy paste from the cashrewards website.

        • Thanks for the reply. I'm on mobile, but I can't see the line "This is a new promotion, so you will still be eligible for cashback even if you took advantage of the previous deal."

With other deals I felt assured with it coming from a rep.

          • +4

@peterpeterpumpkin: Hi. As stated in the OP, this is a new promo so you'll be fine for Cashback as long as you abide by Catch Connect's terms around new services, activation dates etc.

            • @tightarse: Thanks for the reply.

So is this a general rule for all Cashback schemes? If a new reward amount comes out am I certain to be eligible? Or is there an identifier on this promo indicating so that I'm missing?

So if the promo goes $25 then $40 then $20, am I eligible for all 3 or only the first 2. And what if it goes back to $25? Can it still be a new promo?

              • +1

                @peterpeterpumpkin:

So is this a general rule for all Cashback schemes?

Not at all. In fact it seldom applies. It's generally only been used for telco 'cashback profit' deals like amaysim. If there is a restriction, it will always be called out in the terms.

  • Whose network does Catch use?

    • +2

      Optus

  • How come is this deal not liked? last deal with 0.1 credit got over 100 votes https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/434567
Can @tightarse confirm this deal is legit?

From https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/416779", would think the same applies — "if porting in, the number must have been off the Catch Connect network for 30 days or more"

    • +2

It was just posted, give it time.

Also, we just recently had some $35/$40 cashback with a $10 sim deals, so the like button might be a bit worn out. Gotta give it some time to rest.

      • now I am curious why the neighbor deal from shopback with higher cashback ($10) is not that popular: only one fifth votes.

    • +1

Hi hongd. Why would the deal not be legit?

      • -1

haha, just because I never tried other deals not posted by you for cashrewards.

        • Uuuuuuuu bromance

  • So many good deals, so many Sims to burn through :p

  • I already join Catch Connect and purchased $4.9 SIM and activate few days ago from their Web not through Cashreward using my usual email as login. Can I still purchase now through Cashreward from Catch Connect Web with the same $4.9 SIM and same email login , Will they see that is a NEW service ?

    • You will need a new email.

  • Is that mean, I use my usual email from Cashreward, once I in Catch Connect website, I use a new email to purchase the $4.9 SIM ? Same as we purchase the recent Amaysim deal ?

  • beware: sloowwww porting in, like 48hrs slow.

    • did you port from optus network? like amaysim. If porting from Voda or Telstra, shall be faster.

    • I just ported in from Kogan Mobile… took 10 minutes, literally.

  • +2

I never bought from Catch Connect before.
I don't care about the cashback or porting, I only want the 40GB data for $4.90.
Can I buy as many as I want? Can I use same email, ID, address…etc?
as long as I turn off auto recharge, it's fine, right?

    • Since Kogan only has the $4.90 deal these days, I'm giving Catch a go. But I have no experience with them.

If Vodafone is good enough where you operate, thus far it's ok to use Kogan with the same email address for I think 4 months/6 SIMs in my case (as fixed line substitute), and others on OzB for years (but some said they needed new debit card after 5). It's been extended recently:

  • +1

So now I have 3 catch sim cards and 2 amaysim cards and I don't know whether I am going to use even a half of the data available.

    • +1

You can try streaming Sora Aoi on your mobile data

  • Is catch mobile better than Amaysim?
Is it worth to switch from Amaysim?

    • +1

Same network, but Catch is 30 days vs 28 days on amaysim

  • When will the deal expire?

    • +3

      Today

  • will you get cashback if you use the REFERRAL LINKS?

    • I don't think you can use the referral links if you want the cashback.
